  • Red War has generally nothing to do with the current story and it returning would not provide context for really anything currently happening. And the whole "these characters and their importance" but. That stuff didn't come from the Red War campaign. The only characters you're not expereincing is Ghaul (completely inconsequential to anything at this point) and idk, the speaker? who was really more of a character in D1 than Red War. It's really interesting to watch people pretend to know what they missed, be wrong, and then be upset or blame Bungie for it lol.

    • I feel the same way, as someone who only tried Destiny when it came to PC, it was both the story and the gameplay that captured my attention and purchased the game outright. Removing a vital portion of the story was a great mistake. Even if you had to remove the destinations, the story should have stayed. It was a great introduction to the game and the current experience suffers from it being missing.
