These nerfs make no sence its incredible bad .
It looks they want ppl to use stasis
Like don't nerf things to force players to use something. Buff or re work stuff so it's viable to use and make it so every super type is viable to be used .
-
You wanna tell me why anyone would use other supers over Well? A buff to other lock supers would not have pulled people from Well
-
Correction: What be they is be thinking
-
I like change. Getting sick and tired of the same old stuff. I like to figure out what works best instead of doing the same old shz over and over again.
-
they want you to buy the new expansion. you cant be this dumb?
-
What was they thinking indeed.

Here's what they say they were thinking.... "...we don’t believe that using ...like this is particularly interesting or healthy gameplay..." So what do they do aside from nerfs? Create bullet sponges and make you perform the same mechanic 6x in order to kill said bullet sponge, employ timers, and put you in a confined space with overwhelming swarms of trash. Yep, that's very interesting...
-
Thinking? Bungie?😁😁😁
-
They was't thinking Clem. They's wuz brain dead!
-
You don't just buff everything up to the outlier. That's how you increase power creep. You nerf the outliers and make slight buffs to the underperformers where needed. You don't just buff them up to the outlier.
-
"They was thinking" you need to git gud
-
They’re thinking there’s specific subclasses and abilities that are must use because of how powerful they are requiring them to balance the entire game around outliers and need to level the playing field so different builds are actually viable outside of brain dead normal content. If that many people think the game is going to become unplayable because they wont be invincible in wells or be able to solo 1 phase melee a boss then those people need a reality check that they’re not as good at the game as they think they are. Abilities like this trivialize the gameplay and don’t allow for engaging mechanics or varied class usage meaning every enemy needs to either be a sponge or one shot you and anything that can’t combat that becomes useless
-
I think it's Bungie trying to be clever. The big push to sell Final Shape is the new Prismatic subclass. I don't think many people were impressed by this. So, by nerfing all other subclasses, they're trying to force players into using Prismatic. Therefore it will look like it was a positive move to those in the ivory towers. From what I have read, it's putting people off rather than enticing them.
-
So, you've used it already and it sucks?. Uh ha🙄
-
what was they thinking?
No, not at all. "What were they thinking?" Quite right.
-
They nerf things to make way for other buffs. Nothing new here. Stop acting surprised every time a new patch goes out. Adapt. Overcome. You'll become a better player without crutching onto Well.
-
Time to learn movement
-
Makes perfect sense. Div, well, and bubble have been way over powered for a long time and have needed these nerfs. The final shape sounds like it’s going to be awesome!!
-
I’m not sure what planet you’re living on but everyone knew these changes were coming. It hate having to run Well so the changes are welcome on my end. Prismatic looks awesome and I’m stoked to run my Voidlock with the buffs.
-
they all make sense and they are fine,
-
The only major nerf was Well (and Bubble sorta) tho? Sure Strand got a small slap on the wrist since it was over performing but everything else was a buff. Stasis NEEDED updates and personally I don’t think it’s close to enough to warrant using it over other subclasses. It still needs a lot more help. Maybe when we get new supers melees and grenades Stasis will be worth using but even after the buffs? Nah. Or if Bungie releases busted AF exotics maybe that will help its case

They definitely need to do something on Behemoth, I think Hunter and Warlock are fine as is but Titan is definitely the weakest when it comes to Stasis and it's funny because Behemoth was so OP when it first came out.
