Damnit, Bungie, you almost made the best Arc Hunter build insanely busted, but you made the Arc Aspect for Hunters Ascension rather than Lethal Current.
Lethal Current, Stylish Executioner, Combination Blow, Liar’s Handshake and Assassin’s Cowl would have been a godly combo.
We Hunters would out-Titan every Titan with that, but no Lethal Current chucks the whole idea out the window due to the sheer versatility it provides, with Jolt stunning Overloads, Blinding stunning Unstoppables, AND the Arc explosion being great for ad-clear.

They will no doubt add to Prismatic over time. It’s heavy testing though to keep it balanced. So it’s cool they started where they’re at and I’m looking forward to playing it. Totally changes the way we will build craft.

Lack of synnergy is the biggest thing prismatic seems to be missing.love the idea of having different subclass options, but the key aspects that make each kit flow aren't there in most cases. Also worried about the potential lack of synnergy with certain hunter and warlock aspects/abilities. Hunter has 2 aspects that only activate when you dodge, but they also have ascension which uses class ability charge, but may not proc the 'dodge' aspects like threaded specter or winters shroud. Similar concern for warlock aspects that buff rifts, which may seriously limit viable aspect options when you want to run phoenix dive. My hope is they will tweak certain aspects (and some of the exotic perks on the new exotic class items) so they work with a wider array of abilities and allow some synnergy

I have a feeling bungie tested a bunch of stuff on prismatic to see what would be the most broken.

slow/clone is stronger, plus the best combo for the melee build is caliban/synto, can't wait to nuke mobs with super strong punch, ignition off them, slow, clone aka invis, and repeat

Edited by neonsox42: 5/14/2024 12:04:20 AMTbh, that’s probably why they didn’t do it. But at least you can now get invis on melee kills and cross counter at the same time. Just w less healing either way

I agree with you, that definitely does sucks the direction they took that in. Us hunters could’ve had some S tier builds.
