Was it good? I dunno I just think It’d be fun.
I doubt most people remember that gun but it was a hilarious Rasputin themed full auto fusion rifle that had to charge one shot then it’d full auto fire the rest of its ammo.

Some argue that Merciless fills that spot already. However, I miss my gimmick gun. #PocketInfinityGang

They won’t. They are to cowardly

Yep. Nerf it into oblivion… oh wait…

Tbh the way it fundamentally works would have to be different if Bungie still gets errors with it literal years after originally testing it. Surprisingly I think that grand overture works would be a good base. It has a charge time before shooting in full auto, just with individual rounds rather than a burst If they made pocket infinity a linear fusion with the same firing mechanic as overture, a really fast full auto fire speed and a massive mag I think it would work. Give it fourth times and we are cookin
-
Pocket infinity but it uses primary ammo
-
It was such a problem in D1, they could never bring it back as it was. That being said, there’s no reason it couldn’t be reworked like Al the other D1 exotics we got back.
-
Can we have pocket infinity back No we have pocket Infinity at home Pocket infinity at home (Merciless)
-
it was pretty good at 0 to 3 meters and if you got lucky with it firing more them 3 times honestly as it was if you just make it use heavy bricks that would balance it out, kinda fulfilling the same roll acrius does
-
It was the last exotic I needed for the collection. It would be a great disservice not to. It’ll be right up there with telesto
-
They should just bring it back as a full auto fusion with 8 in the mag, deconstruct, rewind rounds, and target lock as the catalyst. That'll get around the glitchy ammo refund on miss perk.
-
Bring back HC/Sniper for MnK players because rollers get 95% of the weapons.
-
it should be a heavy ammo gun to stop it from breaking the crucible
-
It will literally break the game. Bungie said so themselves that gun was literally gamebreaking and causing error codes. A shame, I would have loved to beam people with it
-
Yeah it also had a chance to refund ammo if you missed a single part of a shot (which is why no fusion gets any form of Mulligan) and it had as much recoil as the “Noisy Cricket” from Men in Black. It was so much fun to use.

They never even reprised in d1 when they brought everything else back in year 3 of d1. 😂 That thing was broken even after the nerf but the special ammo economy kept it in check in PvP. Not saying I am against bringing it back… I just would not get any hopes up.
