Sorry. Best Bungie can do right now is add another void glaive (literally just going to be a reskin of enigma). If you don’t mind waiting until March of next year you can get the first craftable 140 hand cannon (one season after nerfing the frame and two seasons after reintroducing 150s). It can roll with destabilizing rounds (three seasons after nerfing perks like incandescent, volt shot, etc because “players rely on them too much for build crafting”)!

2 RepliesWhy you need 140 when 180 is just better for pve? Dps is the same. Mag is larger. No recoil. And if you so need 140, you can try hc from legacy osiris.

Although there isn’t one rn, I’ve been using the word of crota crafted with destabilizing rounds and repulsed brace, and it works pretty well

1 ReplyThe only void handcannons I have are Palindrome and Exalted Truth with PvP rolls. LOL. An exotic 140 void handcannon would indeed be nice.

I have an older Palindrome with Outlaw, Rampage, and High-Calibur Rounds. Feels pretty good for both PvE and PvP. It's a shame how limited the up-to-date Palindrome's damage traits are. One-for-All and High-Impact Reserves isn't really selling it.

Between Kindled Orchid and Palindrome potentially returning at some point, there’s plenty of opportunity. If you don’t mind other archetypes, Word of Crota has everything you’d want on a PvE handcannon so long as you don’t mind 180’s. Bottom Dollar and Optative are also pretty solid. Hopefully we’ll get something soon.

I’ve been fairly successful with Operative, granted I don’t use it on my void build but the minimal recoil is insane and makes it incredibly easy to chain head shots/crits.

As it stands destabilizing rounds is pathetic and repulsor is only relevant for high firerate (eg SMGs) on volatile rounds in mid-tier content.
