For some background information, I play Destiny 2 on PC running windows 11 and I have fast, wired internet provided by Xfinity with high upload and low latency. For the past month or so I have been constantly receiving the error codes "Weasel" and "Anteater" every ten to twenty minutes while I am on the game. When I get these errors, I will either get sent to the character selection screen, into orbit, or even have my game crash as soon as getting an anteater code. I have followed every single step in the troubleshooters as well as the forms, and nothing has worked. Any activity this happens in, as well as while I am in orbit at times. I have tired a mix of opening the correct ports for PC, ports for other platforms and other games. I have tried changing the DNS on my PC. I have cleared the cache for Destiny 2 as well as reinstalled it too many times to count. Flushed DNS settings, updated drivers, delved deep into the crevices of the windows settings using the event viewer. I do have my steam account and my xbox account linked and I am playing on my xbox characters. The xbox account is used by a family member on the xbox, but Destiny 2 is not even installed on it. I thought that this was the cause at first, but the errors continue to happen when I am the only one home and during the night when everyone is asleep. The errors also seem to happen more frequently when other people are home, but the internet can handle multiple people streaming high-quality content at one time. I have no idea if this is an Xfinity problem, an internet problem, or a Bungie problem as this is the only game that this happens on. It is very frustrating as I have lost out on many rewards and/or been disconnected at the most inconvenient times, and I feel as if I am going insane trying all of these fixes and getting the same results ten minutes later.

I've submitted tickets for this and had issues since launch of latest expansion. It used to be my brother for last 2 expansions, but now his works just fine no issues (no changes to internet or home) and mine doesn't. Constant effect on endgame and I have top tier internet speeds in a great area and no other issues with any other gaming, streaming or anything. But can't get any response, help, or anything from bungie. Mind you I'm an idiot that pays for each expansion and season passes.. so 100 dollars each time and I can no longer do any endgame.. Game was really important for my brothers and I since we grew up on it and its sad to think its about time to give it up. Only thing I've heard that works for others (because we all know we've tried everything including port forwarding and what not) is a VPN, but I'm not really wanting to risk using a free one and shouldn't have to pay for a good one just to play a game I'm consistently paying 100 dollars for. 😮💨

I used to have Xfinity and have experienced the same issue you have. For starters, if you have a gateway (a modern/router/Wi-Fi combo device) switch it to Bridge Mode. This WILL disable your router and Wi-Fi capabilities of your device and you will need a separate router to attach to your gateway. If that doesn't work and you have cable and TV, you will need to contact a technician. If you have one line and a coax splitter, you will need the technician to split your connection at the wall. One line for cable and one line for Internet
