I feel like once you are max level with shaxx, it takes too long to get tokens just from playing and onslaught is good but farming it does get a little dull for such a low token payout.

I gave up on getting the armor solely because of this. It's what, 150 per character for mid looking armor that you then have to pay again to unlock the ornament of? Nah. I'll get 15 extra rolls, thanks.

Edited by IcyHorizons: 4/24/2024 3:45:24 PMBe nice if we got 10 per set. So, go to 10 waves, get 10 tokens and so on. So instead of getting around 20 or so per 50 wave, get at least 50. This would make sense, but hey, it's Bungie.

They just throttling us again. At least we can see through them. There is just no way they release something and not intentionally make it this grindy
-
I paid few armors that look good on my characters. Titan: leg and mark Warlock: robe, arm, and leg. Hunter: all (that due my mistakes but good thing I don’t spend all on other characters cuz it ugly)
-
My take is to not spend any on the chest next to shaxx until you can open all the transmog chests. That's 450 tokens in total. After that, there really is no reason to earn more as the rest would be used on the slot machine, and what you can get from there is showered on you in onslaught.

But you can get one per strike…

3 RepliesEdited by viiTactiiCZz: 4/21/2024 9:55:45 AMRealistically because its a timed event, it should be a token per wave. You're capped at 777 but if you do 50 waves you should leave with ~50+ tokens at the end but the tokens should be given at 50 waves so the 10 wave farming isn't better than doing 50. Maybe wave 25 then again at 50 so people with life emergencies etc aren't punished for something they can't control

Once we max out our rank, his bounties should start to reward tokens and a chance at having a Brave weapon drop from them too, with an increasing chance at a drop the more Shaxx exp the player earns from playing and completing said bounties.
-
I was just thinking the exact same thing. You must be an exceptional individual.

1 ReplyThey knew what they were doing. They knew it was low. And I bet they come out and say "we will buff these"...blah blah blah....after people have grinded like mad. To satisfy their "numbers". Just to sound like it was unintentional.....and to make themselves out to be saviors again. Rinse and repeat with them.
-
Master lost sectors can be cracked out for tokens as a bonus if you are chasing an exotic but yeah again repetitive. Unfortunately when you unwrap Bungie's core mechanics it is hallmarked "Rinse and Repeat"

Grind

Don't worry they're buffing the amount of these Chucky Cheese Tokens we get next week. Honestly though I'm just pressed about these shinys. Drop rate is raw cheeks

Very stingy with rewards in general at D2-HQ. Agree with the other suggestions of escalating tokens.. but I also suggest escalating tokens everywhere for every activity.. and still need some kind-of tons of token drop potential.. under-delivery equals quick boredom. -
A bit? 2 per boss is garbage.
-
2 RepliesThey should just make attunement 100%. Anyone who’s tried to get a god roll through focusing knows rng can still be a pain, but it’s even more depressing when you play multiple waves and barely get the weapon you want even when it’s supposed to be attuned.
-
Yeah but if you're not no lifing a product, how will anyone know that you're a TRUE fan?

1 Reply“- A bit”? Just a bit? Lmao 🤣

What? I did like 15 Nightfalls over the weekend, and got enough for... wait, 1 gun? Seriously? 1 gun? That's bull-blam!-!!!
-
1 Replyone per activity is pretty -blam!-.

Or maybe just drop the price of weapons from Shax’s chest thingy once you’re max-rank. 5 seems way more reasonable. That’s a little more than 1 drop every 20 waves
