Which character is y'alls favorite? I know I missed a lot, but this is as big as the poll could go lol. My personal favorites are Eris Morn and the Drifter 😉

That was a good mix of humor and seriousness. It was also the most lore/story interesting thing he ever said. You can’t have a doom and gloom story and then some buffoon acting like a clown as the counter. I mean Ana is upbeat and positive but aside from the one cringey line in Warmind, never overdid it. And it made her sad moments more pointed. Eris is super serious, she actually darkens the lense but that makes her lighter moments much more impactful. Seeing despair turn to hope. Anger into calmness. Loneliness into friendship(+) She has had the best arc so far. Zavala’s character was explored well with the Nightmares and we can see his seriousness is merited. Personal loss, working for the City dealing the internal strife that affected his friends and then it all falling on him. But he’s also boring, aside from his ups and down. Ikora is underserved by always being stoic, like Cayde it’s way too much of one thing when we know she has another more dominant side, her fury side. Aside from Red War, we don’t see it. As so she stays flat and boring. Tbh, Ikora and Zavala could easily play off each other better if they opened them up more. That’s been a wasted dynamic. Drifter is an odd duck. His background suggests if he is an OG character that he was clearly meant to be a Darkness user and likely help us learn it as well. As the point of being a Dredgen was using Darkness like Yor. But with the retcons, they couldn’t explore the Darkness angle and so he could only be used to open the doorway to the idea of using Darkness. Shaxx to me is likely the victim of retcons. His VA is a skilled actor with great range. So why is he used for a one dimensional character with only minor lines? Doesn’t make sense. He had to be meant for more but given how the OG had the Vanguard as corrupt and that whole storyline was discarded, he was left without a place at all.
