A while ago I had a different bungie account and changed the name on it but I pressed \ and enter at the same time (yes I know I shouldve been more careful) but I didnt want that name with a \ on it so I made a new bnet account (this one) and linked everything to it. The problem im having is now the old account name is showing up as my name even though I have nothing linked to it. Is there a way to make it so only this bungie name can show on destiny? Edit: I tried sending a friend request to that bungie account and it says we are the same person even though there is nothing linked to that account...
