Crucible can never be balanced. And even if it could be, people still have a hard time believing that they suck, so it will always be "that person is cheating!" or "lag cost me that gunfight!". You know, it's never "I got outplayed. That person was better than me. How can I learn from that encounter?"
Pvp has no balance because all these gaudians are out of balance in general. What balance is not everyone equal, it's suposed to be a trade off, as in one is better then another but not as good in the other, for example, let's say titans are tank while Hunters are stealth. Titans don't do stealth and Hunters don't do tank etc. These days titans get nerfed to hell and Hunters become broken because of the lack of nerfs due to the feedback from the biggest playerbase that devs pander to, those being hunters
That's somewhat true. There should probably be a lot more mercies than there actually are. But if the balancing is what people like then that's what they should get.
It's hard to say people like it beyond taking the yellow brick road to get a reward though.
Maybe it’s the nostalgia, but I don’t remember getting steamrolled as often as when I was playing halo 2 during it popularity. Maybe that’s a function of being a college student then, everyone was new to the enmass online gaming, or some combination therof, but online PvP gaming feels completely different than it did. Old guy rant/reminiscing over.
There is balance if i get in a lobby with most people i don't die and i wipe the team. how is that a enjoyable experience mercy rules exist for players to not get mad and just quit
