Just open the directory, select a landing zone but don't launch, and activate the vault with the same button you would use while in orbit. Tada! Figured I would post this because I noticed a lot of people haven't realized this yet. And in advance, before people start saying this is overly convoluted, Bungie is planning on vault from anywhere post FS. EDIT: This only works solo or if you are the Fireteam leader.
