I am not watching someone that made an hour and 15 minute video about how they only played destiny for two hours. It makes it seem like they only played it to make the video.

The guy who made the video has played Destiny for years. It's about his friend that he brought in to play the game who hasn't played the game at all. He was trying to introduce a new player to the game.

Edited by A_mo: 4/13/2024 9:00:19 PMYou should probably put that in your original post because I was like "oh hell no," when I saw the running time. I really thought it was just some random gaming creator that was doing a lets crap on destiny video like they do sometimes.

Shadow is well known in the community.
-
Oh I think he's very good at PvP if its the shadow I think it is.
-
same guy, yeah.

Maybe its going to take d3 for some people to be able to get into the game. That is a lot to learn if you really have never played the game before or don't know anything about it. But there's really no way around that if the people currently playing want it to keep growing. They would need a tutorial for literally everything.
-
yeah. the new light experience is not good.
-
He did say he would play again at the end so that's a good thing. With how big the game is now it almost seems like a proper new light experience would almost be a dlc's worth of work.
-
I guess, but if the gunplay is the only thing keeping people playing... I dunno.
-
I am always happy any time I hear someone say the gunplay is the thing they notice that stands out to them the most when they first play. There's a lot of games with guns in them and now I know where my shot registration goes. I'm glad you sent me a message earlier because I forgot that I'd looked at this. Seeing 7 years of cutscenes and everything that we've done was kind of a trip. I don't think I've ever looked at a videogame like it was life memories like that. That is a lot of stuff and its not too much of a surprise if they can't explain it all really quick, seeing as how it is 7 years worth of stuff.
-
problem for me is most of my friends and the people i had those memories with, are gone.
-
People fall by the wayside. That's life.

makes the game pretty lonely
-
Edited by A_mo: 4/14/2024 1:43:38 AMThere's plenty of people all over the game. I've come to the realization that 95% of this game's PvP population is probably pretty bad. With some of this stuff its hard to believe that people need so much of it. But PvE has a lots of people that you can play with. I don't prefer to refer to it as lonely. I call it independence. Independence day everyday.
