Abysmal iron banner drop rates for new weapons
I'm so tired of this culture of the game where I need to spend weeks worth of time grinding for these new weapons. Been playing IB all week and have seen only 1 multimach drop and 0 of the grenade launcher while getting countless duplicate drops of old weapons and armor. All the excitement I had for the new weapons are gone because I can't even get them to drop and don't feel my time is being respected enough to continue on.

I haven't gotten the SMG to drop, at all. Almost on 2nd reset. It's clearly a problem for some, regardless of RNG. Traded in Engrams and got 6 chest pieces in a row. Seem weighted extremely low to drop.

I agree with multimach. I reset twice and that thing only dropped once. Thankfully I don’t care for it Tusk dropped like water tho lol

I got both the submachine gun and grenade launcher fairly quick. However this doesn’t change the fact that only Iron Banner gear should drop from playing Iron Banner. Getting countless seasonal crucible shotguns I instantly dismantle is pointless. Please fix this.

2 vendor resets and I've lost count of the amount engrams I've opened and still no Multimach, it's a joke

2 RepliesYeaah. Over 10,000 rank points, went from 8K, clear to Legend, and not a single Multimach. Drop rates in general don't bother me. I have plenty of Engrams. I need that damn smg to drop so i can get the roll i want. This isn't any smg and the fact i've gotten [b]everything[/b] else way before hitting another 10,000 points as a gilded Iron Lord is irritating. I'm not really mad but srsly, we're owed another week once this is fixed.

I got both weapons by doing something the Daily Challenges and some extra playtime. But I feel for all of you trying and not getting rewarded. Bungie could give players another chance for it in other events - Into The Light or Festival Of The Lost. And Bungie, I am willing to grind The Iron Banner (regardless if I get demolished) for IB engrams. Why is Nightfall Psi-BG Cosmodrome cranked up a level on Hero? Players are quitting again. I did my nine and no more. But seriously, reassure the community by offering more chances for these new weapons.

I was lucky 12 games and I got the GL and the SMG, not the roles I wanted but, yeah, there is an issue with getting any. I figured once they added focusing to all playlists this would happen. Drop rates would be lower than absolute zero.

4 RepliesThis is why I've gotten the last 3 expansions on a discount vs paying full price. The loot chase is so -blam!- in this game. They reeled me in with the story during D1 and the loot then proceeded to slowly butcher the story and constrain the loot rates as D2 has gone on. I want to give Bungie my money. I really do. But if other games do it better, I just give them my money instead. That's why I pay for 3 yearly memberships for OSRS on top of Season of Discovery. They just do loot better. This goes without saying I spend hundreds more dollars a year supporting smaller ongoing indie games like Don't Starve. Those games are just done better than Destiny in its current form. Make a good game and I will shell out money. Anyone who thinks the current loot system in Destiny is good is gaslighting their self and they should treat their self better than that.

4 RepliesMy rng wasn’t anywhere near this bad. I got the GL on game 1, and the SMG on what.. game 5? Afterwards I’ve just been grinding out the engrams so I can turn them in for the rolls I want. It’s not bad, unless you spend all day playing tributes. That’s awful. That’s makes me wanna delete myself :D

And I no longer go to any of your pvp modes, even if your employees personally give out drops. With such an attitude towards the players, play your game yourself.

Got the gl after about 6 engrams, got the smg (which I hate) at rank 16. The gl will be replaced with mountain top and I would rather use any smg over multimach

2 RepliesMeh... I haven t played an iron banner match in quite a while, maybe 2 iron banners ago. I had 10 IB engrams. Needs 4 weapons. The bow, the auto, the scout and GL. Ranked up enough so I could get the auto from Saladin rewards for ranks and used 4 engrams to get other 3 weapons which left me with 6 to focus the GL. The drop rates "seem" to be really good. In your case they seem bad. With drops being RNG I know there is no good or bad drop rates because they are random which is displayed just by our 2 experiences.
