PVP is now a laning hand holding camp fest firing squad circle jerk. Literally cannot peak a lane for .001 seconds without taking fire. What kind of pathetic crap is this? This is the most boring BS I've experienced since year 1 D2. OMFG. Please bungie. I want DUELS bungie, DUELS! Please fix this garbage.

1 ReplyI’m a middle of the road pvper but I usually average above a 2.0 KDA during the season and my gild. I know that assists included that’s what I’m not great. Not this season. This sandbox is complete trash in 6s. Maybe in 3s it’s a bit more primary focused. However in 6s especially control you simply cannot win fights unless they are a 1v1. The team shot meta is completely back and it’s exacerbated in 6s and objective based gameplay where you constantly find groups playing/camping objectives. The amount Of scout rifle campers sitting in the back on maps like eternity is comical. Not having a solo que makes it even worse. Also with a team that’s farming I noticed that special still rains down so again… a change almost exclusively for 3s that makes 6s feel terrible.

2 RepliesDuels do not work anymore because of the abysmal state of the servers and the connection issues and crossplay issues. I.e, you and I could be duelling with the same loadout, exactly the same weapons and exactly the same armour stats. I could hit you with a full mag and you could 2 tap me while I was reloading. That's not purely because of skill level, that's because the game is not technically capable of simulating an equal stand-off. This is forcing players to be less aggressive....plus medium to long range weapons are quite strong atm. Personally I'd hate to see the return of the sliding shotgun ape seasons anyway.

Here's an idea, when you spawn don't run into the death lanes with every other robot. Try a different approach & you won't get insta folded. The meta isn't as bad as people are portraying & there is plenty of special ammo if you can actually use a primary & play obj

Its amazing how quick it can go from not being that to being that and back again. I guess the loss of character control is not supposed to be noticeable? And it probably isn't to some people. They just get irritated and frustrated and don't know why.

14 RepliesThe worst thing of all are still the titans ... I was in a match earlier where titans were just running towards the cap point , just put down a barricade and capture the point ... If you are a titan and you do this then you prob should not be in pvp in the first place . At least we have some gunplay now . They should nerf titans because titans are easy to use in pvp .

If you want duels you need to play 3s or better Rumble.

If you want to play 6s then you need to adapt to teams playing like a team. Use weapons that punish grouping, play smarter, stop assuming that everyone is blind and hoping you can sprint down open lanes without being tagged, etc. Otherwise, stick to 3v3 game modes or Rumble for your preferred PvP experience of aping and dueling without a care in the world.

Leaving when teammates are passive losers and want to camp and lane. If you can't fix the game no worries I'll fix it myself by quitting all the bs matches you put me in.

There are so many saying it's a "skill based" meta while they also say "just play with your team lul" yeah way to contradict yourself in the same sentence lmao, I got to high ranks by myself because it used to be a skill based meta, not a stack and press w meta lmao.

Unfortunately it's hard to do that without some people really being able to run their scores up. What I don't understand is that all season when the player population dips, or appears to dip, it really does seem like it really truly honestly could be the matchmaking coming first in the chicken and egg dance of death that the pvp does to itself and with itself. Can't tell for sure though and with the skill stuff if the population starts low it appears to be like something where a pump isn't primed enough. So the good news is if it starts with more people maybe it won't eject as large a portion?🤔
