For me I don't think I'm going to buy the annual pass just the final shape. I really don't think the annual pass is worth buying, because it will be episodes that are 6 months long, aside from me what do you think.

I've always felt all in, or nothing. If I'm going to pay for something, get the annual pass - see the game through. There's a possibility that it will suck, but that doesn't mean the other parts will. But I'm curious as to why all the people -blam!- to spend another dime with Bungie insist on staying on the boards

Edited by The Hermit IX: 4/4/2024 1:34:06 PMI’m buying the whole thing like I do every year. I get countless hours of entertainment out of $100. Worth every penny on my end.
-
I'm buying the $100 pack I do every year but this will most likely be my last send off especially if it's just going into episodes and no expansion
-
Absolutely not buying anything bungie again
-
Waiting til release, then maybe wait a few more weeks to see its reviews, and then maybe I will buy if its super good. I'm not much of a gamer anymore but I will still Raid and on rare occasion do other things. If it isn't good then I'm probably done aside from continuing to gild my Iron Lord title. I don't play as much anymore.
-
Not buying any of them till they go on sale.
-
Niether...canceled. Just waiting on sony to take over and fire everyone at bungie....then NY gane is finally done
-
Waiting to see the reviews first
-
Neither at this point.

2 RepliesBase version. I pre-ordered the legendary months ago but cancelled shortly thereafter about the time I saw that video where that talking head game director showed he was still completely out of touch and still was dead set on ignoring the majority of the playerbase. They fired him though, so I'll repurchase probably at some point, but not the legendary version. Bungie still hasn't shown a real willingness to fix pvp. They take away solo que options claiming low playerbase and then overload us with other options nobody wants. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to make people bank crests?

Will be waiting for reviews first. Won't bother if it looks same old...

1 ReplyNot going to buy either honestly the fun has been sucked out of the game for me
-
I think it’s worth it for the dungeons alone but I’ve only bought it on PlayStation this time (I also play pc). If the episodes are just a hamster wheel and go into a second year I won’t get them until reviews come out.
-
9 Repliesalready pre.ordered the deluxe , even with the downs this game is still a fantastic game even if is super casual now
-
1 Reply1. Why is this in the feedback forum? This post isn’t feedback for the game itself but for other players to know who preordered what (and potentially shame them for it). 2. I preordered the Deluxe Edition from the start and haven’t let up since because I’m still excited over where the story goes (or what’s left of it anyways). Not everything is doom and gloom you know. 🤷🏿♂️

I usually wait until the day before launch to get the next expansion, so I haven't given it any serious thought on which edition, but more than likely I will end up getting the annual pass edition.
-
Going to? I bought that -blam!- months ago lol

Just the Final Shape xpac. I have 0 interest in Episodes, I'm ready to put the game down for good. I wanna see the ending of TFS out of curiosity and to get closure for 10 years worth of content.
-
If I do purchase it will be after Final Shape has been released and the reviews have come in. A good or decent expansion will not be enough though, it will have to be fantastic.

2 RepliesEdited by A_mo: 4/3/2024 1:13:59 PMI think that if they go at the episodic structure with aplomb, they really could be better than seasons. Seasons just started to add to peoples' frustrations and for a lot of people they required more time management skills than a video game is voluntarily supposed to. Constantly full destiny calendar and everyone is irritable, so episodes will hopefully give them time to raise the quality bar again (which they had been doing in some way every year) and also contain more of a pressure release valve so everyone isn't at each others' throats like its more of a job than recreation. I'm just as guilty as anyone else...

4* months long
-
Just planning on getting TFS. Episodes will have to be substantially different from seasons for me to consider getting them.
-
I'll think about it maybe
-
I didn’t give them money for this year and I will wait until I see a lot of information about next year before deciding. With the game director leaving I think there is good reason to be a more informed consumer.

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 4/3/2024 1:24:40 PMI’m getting the base version and seeing how it plays out. Honestly, if they just made dungeons consistent with the rest of the game by affording them SOME form of player agency/bad luck protection I’d probably get the deluxe. At this rate through I don’t care about dungeons anymore. I just now got my first desired column 3/4 perk combo on a dungeon this season from Warlord. It only took hundreds of encounters across all dungeons over several years to get one. Why would I continue to pay for access to something so needlessly, stingily, and trollishly unrewarding? It’s their loss. 🤷♂️
