Edited by f3: 4/3/2024 5:31:24 PMPseudo-isometric physics-based melee game with both a linear dungeon crawler and more arcade-y Arena mode. It’s very easy to pick up and put down, and there’s no game more rewarding for getting good at. Oh yeah, and it’s, like, $20.

The story mode/dungeon crawler part you can pause and quit whenever, and it’ll load you in exactly where you quit. It’s also got cool magic to play with. In the arena, each fight only lasts a couple of minutes on average, but they can be over in a matter of seconds. It really is a great game for playing in short bursts.
