Hello there,
Thanks for reporting.
We launched a mandatory "date of birth" screen in Destiny 2. This is a one-time ask. Players who input a date younger than 13 years old will be restricted from certain features like text chat or even buying silver. Any questions about the date of birth can be answered in this article: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/24217906958868-Date-of-Birth-Requirements-for-Destiny-2-and-Bungie-Services

earth to @BNGHelp9.. still here?
-
Age has been updated and still no mic. What gives bungie? Do you even care about us

Is this only suggestion your gonna do? Or are there any other things i can try? I did the request to adjust my date just to be sure, because it's impossible to see my entry or if i ever entered something at all.

@BNGHelp9 i just got a confirmation that my date of birth info was correct, so that's not the issue.

This happened to my friend, who said he never had to enter a birthday and voice chat worked fine up until the update 7.3.5.2. He submitted the request, but we want to be able to use voice chat for final shape, so how long can he expect this to take?

I doubt thats it.. you never had any trouble selling me silver. Also i can use text chat normally.

It can also be worse: My son updated age (where we also found out Bungie can't read PDF-Documents... What a shame for a software developer), still not working. Needed to create parental control for a 16 years old player (guess the kids of Bungie workers are tracked permanently by their mobiles. Control instead of trust), still not working. And the reaction of Bungie? Send an automated answer to the ticket, close it, ignore follow ups and close them also. Wow, what a respectful customer handling!
