I want to share with Bungie my frustration in Osiris trials, this weekend after many games I managed to reach the 6th victory with the two forgiveness of the compassion pass. I lost the first opportunity to reach the lighthouse with a team of two who were out of reach of me and of the two players who played on my team I lost this game 5-0 without being able to make a single kill, the opportunity is loose people like me and again I find 3 opponents out of my reach. And in my third and last encounter more of the same. I don't know what they base on matching me against people who carry up to 8 headlights a week without me having even one. I have images of all my pairings and I would like you to help me with this issue. I am not asking for a favor, only fair games since I am not a proplayer and it is very difficult for me to qualify for the lighthouse.

You got one flawless playing at a 0.97 (which is average) in a hundred games or so. It would take close to 100 games as well in an sbmm environment assuming the probability of winning being 50% as would be the case with sbmm.

4 RepliesHere’s the truth… Bungie doesn’t want fair, competitive mm. If they had that it would be very hard for people to go flawless. But thats why they match up better players together and lower players to feed them. Anyone can disagree with me, I don’t care. But you can’t change my mind.

Average random matchmaking moment

1 ReplyRandom MM needs to be sunset. The gaming landscape has become too competitive for this mentality anymore. Even regular games have sweaty players. SBMM needs to be mandatory or at least an option.

3 RepliesI don't understand the constant complaints about "bad" teammates when Fireteam Finder is live. Don't complain about your random teammates when you didn't even try to find your own. Your argument doesn't explain why all players deserve to go to the Lighthouse. Do all players deserve the Conqueror Title, flawless Raid completions, or solo dungeon completions? If you say no, then why should going to the Lighthouse be treated any differently? Everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed in Trials, just like everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed in GMs. The only thing preventing you from succeeding is you. Also, the sole purpose of Trials is to reward PVP skill. Following that logic, everyone has a different skill level, so players should be rewarded differently.

Edited by BadDay: 4/1/2024 2:19:00 AMYou should be running ferocity, if the light house is your goal It still won't stop losing streaks, but it locks you in at 3, making it where you only need a 4 streak

yes my frustration is the card if you have 6 wins and your teammates have 1, they give up after losing 1 round
-
1 ReplySo you want free wins when you’re the reason your team lost. No way. Lol

Looking at destiny tracker too much while playing will probably just make most people mad. It also seems to make a lot of people think they're the only ones that get lopsided matches. Some of your matches will be lopsided. The alternative would likely lead to an increase in bad gameplay. And a lot of times the game ends up with both for some group of people just so the loudest mouths don't yell as loud.

2 RepliesFirst off game history does not show a 6 straight win. It’s 5 wins followed by 3 losses. Regardless tho, you had a 5 win streak so those matchmaking was good no? Matchmaking is complete RNG, and everyone can flaw a card pretty deep in/fall at the gate. When you are on a win streak just remember a loss streak can come anytime and that’s not unfair
