Please bring back custom text for fireteam finder. For real, tags dont work everything! Literally took away freedom of speech.
The new fireteam finder is less efficient than the last one.

It's really not a political thing, it's more like that's literally what occured.

Freedom of speech is a term with very specific and inherently political connotations. It refers to the ability to say whatever you want and be free from censorship [b][i]by the government[/i][/b]. Private citizens and corporations can take away as much of your speech as they like, because that's not the government openly censoring criticism of itself. Now, we could argue that, at the very least, corporations shouldn't be able to censor people, but if we're having that argument over [i]an lfg app in a video game[/i], I think our democracy is as good as dead.

1 ReplyCurious what platform you’re on? I’m on PS5 and I still have access to the old fireteam finder as well as this new one. My friend on Xbox only has access to the new fireteam finder. Now that I said that out loud…why tf did they have to mess with it in the first place? Surely it couldn’t be all the complaints about KWTD tag..right?

Agreed. Like looking for lfgs for the secret chests for spoils in vow,vog, crota is a pain. Or people that know what to do in the final encounters of raids has also been painful. Got into an oryx encounter where two people had no idea what to do. And I thought the post said experienced. But no one follows that apparently.

With FF, don't forget you can inspect players and message the fireteam before you summon... so if someone doesn't have the right subclass/load out, then you can ask them to change. If they don't put on what you looking for, or don't suggest a better strategy, then they can be replaced within the same post. There's plenty of room for improvement for FF, and hopefully that'll be achievable. E.g. having a team composition section would be great.

6 RepliesWhat aren't you able to clarify in posts? I've seen this complaint a few times but I have never seen specifically what people have lost access to. I think it would be better to write out the sort of things you can no longer convey in your posts and then consider whether the issue can be solved with more FF tags, or if you have a solid case to bring back custom text.
