Into The Light Confirms Destiny 3?
I believe it was either Chris Barrett or Luke Smith who once explained that the reason why Rise of Iron / Age of Triumph had such high power fantasy was because they knew D2 was coming and it didn't matter how much they broke the game.
After the ITL showcase today, it seems they are once again unleashing the power fantasy. With some of those perk combos, I can't believe they will be able to sustain that for long in a way that doesn't conflict with their "don't trivialize content" philosophy.
I will be surprised if a D3 announcement doesn't follow TFS with the Episodes and 2025 being a buffer for a D3 release in possibly 2026.
Maybe a D3 under Sony leadership might actually be worthwhile.

It definitely means the game is over, but it doesn't mean a sequel is in the plans, and with Bungies financial predicament I very seriously doubt it They might not even exist has a company this time next year , so I doubt a D3 is in the plans
