I remember D2 Survival and Countdown was like the Venus Strike from D1. I don't care how somebody spin's it...Countdown is a horrid mode, why they brought it back...Baffles me. Like if Bungie was trying to tick me off...They Succeeded.

I'm still pissed that I lost a trials match that had just barely "too little" shot registration. But not really too little. I should be able to win that. That's what I'm thinking. Everyone needs something to work and that next highest bar. Even if the next highest bar is redonk. Speaking of which there are some players that really are down to earth players and they would probably be a minority and they would probably represent something less than casual. Its like the game keeps getting reduced down to what these players want and a lot of long term casuals end up contributing to this happening by using the "I can't do it" thing to have the game do it. One of the two playlists need to not be like that. Then the game could do other things like having a 3 person requirement in trials without "physically" forcing it. Or have a comp that would better encourage a healthy and meaningful competitive scene. But if everything is going to get changed based on anyone's inability to do it, its certainly going to be less interesting as a PvP could be.

I used to hate it but playing with one or two friends really made the experience much more enjoyable. Comp by design is communication based and we as the player base created this solo player experience need. Bungie responded with sure go a head but every blue berry has their own agenda and play style. That doesn't generally make for a good time unless you can individually adapt to your team. In turn playing in stacks makes any competetive pvp much more enjoyable as a whole.
