The community is what keeps me from playing the game at this point, not Bungie. Whether it’s matchmaking, content, free loot, this community is NEVER HAPPY. Constant vitriol sent towards each other.
“But it’s Bungie’s fault! They’re the ones not giving us what we want!” whined the community. Oh, it’s a COMPANY’S fault you’re purposefully mean and apathetic to other human beings? Get real.
Not to mention, you guys DON’T know what you want. Do you want SBMM or CBMM? Challenging content or Adepts handed to you on a silver platter? We’ve wanted a horde mode for a decade, and now that we’ve got one (that looks cool too), you -blam!- all over it. I really hope they NEVER bring back SRL, simply because it would be met with the same response no matter what.
I want Destiny to succeed, but it just feels like the community doesn’t. They all want it to fail, crash and burn. For what purpose? To appease your ego? “They deserve it?”
If someone were to ask me what the biggest problem this game had, it would be the PLAYERS.
Edit: I’m under no illusion that Bungie has made mistake after mistake with this game, with the “overdelivering” PowerPoint, Lightfall (and Shadowkeep) as a whole, and every other eververse choice they’ve made. My favorite one of their’s is the TERRIBLE matchmaking in PVP. (See guys? I’m just like you!)
Does it excuse the community from calling poor Noah the N word on the livestream? Telling him to KHS? People are so blinded by their hate and ego that they’ll literally DEFEND their blatant toxicity because apparently a COMPANY enabled them to. Get real, you addicts.

10 RepliesFunny enough, somebody made a post a week or 2 back asking what the biggest problem with Destiny was and I answered simply, "The players."
