Just thought I’d drop this in here with all of the other feedback surrounding ‘Into the Light’.
Having Noah on Tuesday’s panel of devs was an amazing inclusion. He brought a great energy to the stream and felt like a real Destiny player playing the game. With all of the negativity we’re seeing in the D2 online community and hearing about the state of affairs over at Bungie, it was great to see a dev who seems genuinely passionate about Destiny.
Watching his gameplay during the stream was actually really enjoyable, and the insights/behind-the-scenes perspective offered by the hosts’ discussions were concise and interesting.
I know people usually use these forums to complain or speculate, but I just wanted to say that I really liked hearing from the devs in this way. So yeah, kudos to the developers and teams involved with the showcase; it’s great to see and hear from devs who care.

8 RepliesHe did a great job and I’m glad the trolls that were completely out of line are banned from the game. There needs to be more of that even on these forums with the trolls. A handful of toxic people create way too many problems.
-
I thought he was great. He had great energy and I was really impressed with how he was able to play and talk about the activity (sounds simple but is pretty hard to do well)

I enjoyed seeing a Bungie dev playing the game and obviously enjoying doing so. He had good energy and I’d be happy to see him in more streams in the future.

Cake is a life style. ;)

7 RepliesSure. Noah's gameplay and commentary was good. If you're standards are use nothing but Buried Bloodline and constantly plugging your Raid, Dungeon, and Lighthouse runs.

the glazing on this kid is actually insane lol

2 RepliesBla bla bla, talk is cheap. If TFS is great, then I will start giving even some credit. In the meantime, it’s just another guy saying what he’s supposed to.

Talks are cheap, results are real 800 innocent little devs with nothing but love and competency forced to deliver dogshit content by big evil manager is the most gen z fairy tale ever existed

18 RepliesEdited by nonchalantone: 3/21/2024 12:20:08 AMPost like this seem very suspect to me. It's odd how these post of "praise" always pop up after a stream or announcement. Almost like a marketing ploy. And just because people complain, this does not make them any less important or passionate, than others. This is an opinionated forum after all! This is as funny as marking the Ghostbusters stuff for $25 AFTER making it seem like it was $28 originally! Pure comedy at this point.

Agreed. Noah was great. What he got through (steam notifications) while playing is ... well ... I don't have words for that. I do hope it didn't kill his mood and hope to see some more with the same energy. It was ... refreshing. Take care

1 ReplyI think all the devs care It’s Bungie leadership and suits that don’t know what they’re doing Noah is a real gamer though
-
2 RepliesNoah is cool. If you are interested and look he has about 4 hours of audio online talking directly about Destiny. They definitely care about the game lol
-
4 RepliesHe showed that someone there plays the game and can beat an overload, lol.
-
It was, I'd totally see him stream on twitch
-
Second this, they did a great job on the stream and I'm excited for onslaught.
-
yeah not sure where is the hate coming from i liked dude energy for what boring activity he had to play lol
-
People wonder why this forums is never taken seriously and at the same time, all the top comments here are just bashing OP for enjoying the stream. I don’t get why so many people here only live to blindly hate on the game. I wish I had as much free time as a lot of the kids here.

2 RepliesYou really can't get upset at the devs. Bungie's situation is a management issue, and that was hard confirmed by Sony. I believe the rank and file devs are doing a great job with what they have, and I hope the management gets their -blam!- together soon. I had no plans of watching the stream, but I kinda want to now.
-
Gamer guy was great and even he rolled his eyes at some of the garbage questions that came out of the dude who was asking the questions. “Is the matchmaking premade or match made?” Dude not only did he already say that but it’s literally how every playlist in your game works. Such a chimp, maybe spend less time waxing that god awful mustache and actually know how ur game works. If people like that are running the game than Sony for sure should rake the coals with bungie management. Out of touch.
-
More often than not the devs actually do care about the games they make, but it's typically (upper) management that wants to throw a wrench in the plans. Nice to see/hear that the game devs still have some passion in them despite the nonsense at Bungie.
