No Winners Package from Focused Activity
I recently made a new account to play Destiny 2 as a little light and do the stories again.
Since guardian games is on, I figured I'd do that. I want the skimmer but nightfall pairs me with other little lights (the one nightfall I tried at just under 1770 was with a level 5 and level 4 and it took an hour!) so I can't get top 10%. But that's okay I thought - I'll pledge my warlock in the focused activities!
Only the winner package never drops.
I get a tier 1 and tier 2 etc as we ascend in points.
But not a single winner package.
How TF am I meant to get this quest done when it either doesn't work or I can't do the nightfalls?
It's absolute rubbish if you're new.
Edit: I got it in the end, but two of the packages never dropped. Maybe because I had to log out for the night? Staying logged in until the end of a focus activity really shouldn't be a requirement.
Also, I'm dropping my light level on my main account (this one) this weekend to run nightfalls with the little lights - dares of eternity style - because so many don't know about champions mods and struggle through the strikes. So I'm going to lower my light level and then up it again once I'm playing with kinderguardians.

Go to the part where it shows who's currently winning. It will tell you who you pledged as at the top. I'm asking this because your class might be stuck on a class you used in the past. I'm stuck on Hunter. Haven't played for a week, got on today, and it still says I pledged as hunter. I made a post about this but Bungie never responded. Guess I'm not getting the skimmer. I played a ton of titan last week and never got a winning focus package. Awesome.

I received the package, made sure my trophy case was empty, opened package and have 0/3 completed on quest

When I realized I could manage these to get the skimmer, I have played Warlock and been in gold tier winning class 3 times since. A Nightfall focus activity, a gambit focus activity, and a crucible focus activity. I’ve gotten the small chest reward but have not gotten the winners package as it has stated I should again. No logging in and out, etc has helped. Very frustrating because I cannot get 1,200 medals (absolutely ridiculous) this week nor will I be able to do top 10% nightfall. I don’t have the community or time to grind like that right now unfortunately. Thought this would be a manageable way to get the Skimmer. Not reassuring how many people are having this issue, and I am not seeing ANYWHERE that Bungie has acknowledged this issue despite countless reports. :(

It's still an issue. Played earlier, focused activity was gambit. Played some matches on my warlock. Got tier packages, warlocks were miles ahead. Focus activity ends, I waited, got nothing. Logged out and back in, still nothing. Had to leave, came home logged in still nothing. F me I guess

I have a similar problem. My progress was working then all of a sudden it went to 0 and any focus activity packages that I have opened it didn't go towards my progress.

4 RepliesI logged on about 7pm MDT 3/19/24. Nightfall was the focus activity. Played several rounds of Nightfall until about 830pm MDT as a Warlock. Warlocks won the focus. I did not receive a winners package. Tried all the suggested tricks from the web (playing another nightfall, going to orbit, log out and back in, etc. Still no package. So, I checked my game history. None of the nightfall I played shows up, but my subsequent activities do ( Did some lost sectors and some supremacy). I received medals and my Vanguard card completed. Would really like the focus winner package. Hope you can help Bungie.

Same issue here ! I played multiple focus activities with the winning class and had only 2 times the reward. I don't know for you guys but for me, every time a focus activity starts, in the first second, when it starts, it automatically says I pledged with the Titans, even if I didn't play, even if at this moment none of my 3 characters was a Titan ! I don't know what to do seriously... Guess I'm not getting the skimmer...

Activity finished, no reward for pledging with the winning class. Edit: I just logged out and logged back in and the package dropped into my inventory.

Focus Activity: Nightfall Winning Class: Warlock Me: Warlock Wearing "Allstar Bond" Got Tier 1, 2, and 3 chests. Event ended. No Winning Reward. Focus Timer in tower not even showing who won. Steps taken to try to get: Left Tower to orbit, then back to tower. Logged out of character, and back in. Closed out game, relaunched, and logged back in. Ran one more Nightfall after event. None of these got me the Winners reward. Not very reassuring that Bungie isn't even acknowledging that they KNOW of this error...

So early this morning the Warlocks won, played my warlock. Got the tier 1 and 3 rewards as I had to take a break in between. Won the event but never received the reward. Logged in and out, played another match, even logged out, went to sleep, woke up did stuff and logged back in many hours later and nothing. I should be 3/3 but I am only 1/3 because of this bug. It's bad enough Warlocks win in a blue moon, but to NOT be able to get the rewards because of bugs, almost makes me want to give up on a game that I have played since early beta in Destiny 1

2 RepliesI have the same issues here. I just played for the whole focus activity and got the t3 activity reward; my class was in the lead by a lot and nothing. It's also a warlock, btw.
