I read in the patch notes that a fix was made to allow the Cabal Missive to forward the quest properly. I have tested this and it is still not forwarding or even registering that the item was picked up. I have tried several things to see if it was something I was doing. I started by going to the area with the Shadow Legion Looters and killed them all including the yellowbar who drops the missive. I pick up the missive, and nothing happens. Missive reads in inventory as consumable but does not have a way to interact with it. I then abandoned the quest / deleted the missive from inventory and logged out of Destiny 2 and steam completely, relogged in and reclaimed the quest from the kiosk at the Tower. Went to the area again, killed the looters and looted the item. Still, nothing happens after picking it up.
