As the support that BattleEye & Valve provides are fairly easy to implement with only a single configuration file that needs to be changed as stated by valve. All of which can be found here:

I have had hundreds of hours in this game, but now that I have swapped to PC over PS4, I have been unable to play Destiny 2 due to the BattleEye anti cheat. I would really appreciate the additional support, as would many others I'm sure, particularly steam deck users.

its crazy, they only have to gain from this if they ever did it...and it would cost them nothing...as linux is mainly a community ran, free labor lol. also funny cuz stadia is linux...so this means they HAVE a working linux version of this game too, ps5 is also unix based too...so pretty much the really close to linux... one can only hope they stop being stupid, its only a gain and them having good PR be a good move rn

Linux is only used by about 3% of PC owners, and I'm sure less than 1% of those want to play Destiny. I love my Linux box, don't get me wrong, but it ain't happenin'.

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - old
You’ve been unable to play because you bought a steam deck. When you got it you were aware, or should have confirmed beforehand, that Destiny 2 could not be played on your chosen device. YOU have the power to get round this by installing Windows and dual booting the steam deck. -
research is not your strong suit is it. Destiny uses more than just Battleye, they have their own anticheat as well, that is not compatible with Linux. Next time, buy a Windows device.

I belive after sony had acquired them they said linx will never be supported and youd have to be on windows... i mean i dont fully understand why they where so anti linx , probably because of hacks maybe, dunno.
