Come one come all to see trials matchmaking in a nutshell it’s a wonderful event.
I myself a not good PvP player but not terrible either (average just below a 1kd in trials and have 5 flawlesses) decided to play a persistence card I’m just trying to get summoner I then proceeded to on my first game! Of this newly reset card go against someone with 299 flawlesses. And a 2kd. Now riddle me this how is that at all fair. While my teammates I presume are the same skill level as me. It’s not okay for me to be getting stomped like this on a card designed to help me get loot even if I’m not great. I can’t get the loot if I can’t even pass 1 win because I’m going against people like that. I just want the adept summoner.

2 RepliesIt’s all RNG- sometimes you get the potatoes on your team and sometimes they’re on the other. Sometimes you’re the potato. Good luck have fun.

4 RepliesI’m pretty average as well & yesterday I matched a team with 2.0+ Kds with 1,500+ career flawless cards. In no universe did I belong anywhere in that match 😆

For every 2kd 200+ flawless you play, you've probably faced a 0.3kd 0 flawless player and steamrolled them. At the end of the day trials is about getting a string 7 wins and going flawless it'd be infinitely worse if they added some form of sbmm into the mode.

Trials matchmaking in a nutshell: A group of NBA pros shows up at the high school and proceeds to stomp the living -blam!- out of the 10th graders playing that evening. Bungie: Yeah, totally fair. That's how our matchmaking should work!

1 ReplyThey really need to bring back Card based matchmaking
