I dunno why Bungo felt this would be a good idea but it isn't. This change strongly favors cheaters and the top 1%.
Catering to those players is the worst possible thing they could do to this game. Attracting new players should be top priority, not making their play experience worse.
Sometimes It feels like Bungo is trying to ruin this game on purpose.

Edited by A_mo: 3/17/2024 4:37:12 PMWell it doesn't necessarily have to favor it like it does or did. People say they want the game "competitive" and then say that when someone does better they were catered to. What does that say about how seriously anyone should take the skill levels in this game? Should lower skilled players be put in the top 1.% Should the top 1% be removed and then the game will somehow only consist of 99% of itself. Would the top of the 99% be called the top two or would it be the top 1% again? What about people at 89%? They're sitting pretty pretty as well and in most economic systems (which is what people are trying to turn pvp into) they're the ones most responsible for protecting the top. Under your system they would be the top. I'm not really understanding what people mean when they say things like this. Sometimes I wonder if people ever work on themselves. Like me, I have always had a problem with people that play the victim to control other people. That's how harmful stereotypes like the top 1% is a bunch of crazy people get perpetuated. Not to mention its something that dumb people will do and be thinking they're smart. Destiny is helping me work on that.
