Especially when all armour is worthless when you get to a certain point in the game, too… If it’s not pinnacle rotation, all armour <60. When it is >60, there’s no reason to use any of it, because I already have the same armour unlocked in collections since years ago, and I already have full artifice armour with my desired stat rolls. You know what’s even more useless than that? New class items. All it takes is a single artifice class item, and you’re set for the rest of the history of Destiny 2. Clearly you haven’t felt the absolute slam in the face when you get 4 identical drops of under-1810 class armour when you already have the perfect artifice piece in-slot.

It's not just Prophecy, all Dungeons do this, the RNG is just rough sometimes. My first run through Warlord's Ruin this week dropped all armor and one Sniper. It would be great to have the system set up like Pit of Heresy so you can at least guarantee a weapon drop from a consumable.

But if you played destiny for so long, this is just their tactic. They know ppl gonna farm it. So they tip the balance towards armor rather than weapons. To get you staying at that hamster wheel

1 ReplyThe real problem is it’s not farmable unless it’s the featured dungeon. It should be farmable all the time, along with all the other dungeons. Especially now we have to pay separately for them.

This week RNG was hell for my Prophecy runs. Sad face. Wish there were weapon boons like the OG moon dungeon or something.

This is just bad luck.. I've not been on for a long session in ages. Couple of nights ago ran prophecy once, got 2 armour pieces with the rest all being weapons with no dupes. It's just RNG unfortunately. A long while ago everything I ran never dropped what I wanted. It happens

Edited by Gooner77: 3/17/2024 9:50:23 AMI did a Prophecy run last night and got 4 weapons, Handcannon, SMG and two Auto Rifles, both with Gutshot Straight 🙄 Your post just sounds more like random RMG Bad Luck. I did get a 65 Titan Chest Piece which was unsual.

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 3/17/2024 12:16:23 AMI 2 manned the whole thing once with my son. I somehow got 4 prosecutor autos (first encounter x 1, hidden chest x2, final bosses x 1) and one sudden death shotty, he got all armour pieces. 🤷♂️

1 ReplyWhy I don't grind dungeons except for exotics. Idc how fast the encounter is, I'm not spending an hour farming the same encounter only to get armor 11/12 times and when I finally do get a weapon, it's either a trash roll or it's not the one I want. They need to do one or more of the following because this is ridiculous: Allow us to RELIABLY target farm, focus, and/ or craft dungeon weapons. Make a Hymn of Devastation for all dungeons. Or, while this wouldn't really change the grind, it would at least help with fashion. Let us transmogs weapons like we can armor. So long as model dependent animations don't conflict with each other, and in which case, just limit transmogs, I fail to see the problem with making my Disparity for example look like New Purpose. It's not like the enemy player is going to notice which I look like I'm shooting with, and if I would've killed with one, chances are I would've won with the other.

1 Replyyeah. they've really cranked up the armor drop percentages. or nerfed the life out of weapon drops. on a couple runs i've got nothing but armor. not 1 weapon. i don't understand why there is a drop at the boss (but it can only be one piece of the 2nd set of armor for this dungeon - moonfang). why didn't they just delete that and have the pulse and hand cannon drop there. then the final chest could give anything from the dungeon.
