Passage of Persistence Broken??
Just got to 7 wins and didnt get the adept. Won my first three matches, so it's not the lose your first match bug. Kicker is... I only lost two matches, so a passage of mercy would have had me go flawless. What is happening?
Edit: it appears that the problem may have been leaving the match before the end screen. I definitely left after rewards and did not receive a penalty. but today I made sure not to leave any matches early and the passage did work properly.

1 ReplyThey can shove it exactly where they can shove their new expansion along with Marathon and whatever else they got planned. Win, loss, win, loss, win, loss … zero progress. And when you finally get there after hours, the card is bugged somehow and you don’t get a reward. That’s Destiny in a nutshell.

3 RepliesI won 7 games in a row on the new card, and it wouldn't let me goto the lighthouse. So I played an 8th match and lost, and it said I no longer had a flawless card. Would have been my first time to the lighthouse lol oh well.

2 RepliesI'll tell you what happened. Its bugged and it is a bug that doesnt benefit players. Lost sector bug got disabled minutes after finding out about it. This bug that wastes players time tho? Nah, the 2 interns who still work on destiny 2 have better things to do aka writing a twab praising some random streamers movie of the week or advertising the bungie store.

2 RepliesI'm confused, can someone help explain? So, if you win first match....and lose some, and win some more until you reach 7 wins...do you get an adept? What I'm asking is as long as you get to "7 wins" on the card WITHOUT losing first match, do you get anything?

2 RepliesIt definitely works l, I just got the adept on the persistence passage. It’s just not as clear cut as Bungie described it on the card. I just posted a new topic forum with my observations and recommendations. Hope it helps

Anyway you cut it, the description for the Persistence Card is a [b]LIE[/b] in its current state. People need to stop trying to dissect the matter shifting onus onto the player. It’s not our responsibility to know every hidden requirement or explore myths about what Bungie [b]wants[/b] or [b]intends.[/b] Call it for what it is: bugged and broken trash.

1 ReplyI did 2 cards to 7 wins, because i didn't know about the bug about winning the 1st match first card out the window, did a second 7 card, won the first 2 matches and still didnt get -blam!-. thanks for wasting my -blam!- time. Really and truly i would have rather done the nightfall and farm materials i don't have than have done this and have absolutely nothing to show fo it. Bungie some people have lives so -blam!- like this matters!!!!

Right now as of Saturday morning I am at 4 wins and still flawless. So according to Bungie my card should not go flawless as long as I do not get disconnect or leave a match early. I will grind it out today and take a pic when I have the six wins needing that 7th one. If I succeed I will post results and let y’all know if I get adept or not

9 RepliesIt's been bugged since it's release last weekend, Bungie are aware of the issue and have tried to scape goat it by saying that if you're having problems to reset the card and see if it works.

It is almost impossible for me to get clean 7 wins since I keep being booted out of the games due to server networking issues, which automatically flaw the passage.

1 ReplyFinally got the adept. You cannot leave early, whether you win or lose. Wait until the match is over and your character appears. Restart the game periodically to avoid glitches that kick you out of game. And get two wins in the beginning and it should drop. Be prepared to lose alot, the whole experience sucks but the gun is good.

If they don’t fix this it’s game over for trials, their one shot at buffing the population is going to backfire if they don’t just make this a stupid bounty or something.

1 ReplyMake sure that you don’t get a red X on your passage card. And don’t leave until you see the scoreboard. I had a lot of bad matchmakings and losses but still got the drop. Player base is just currently too small now. I used to have more a decent matches and better luck in the past.

Tried it out last week and gotten to 7 wins with some losses. No adept. This passage is a joke. This was the main reason why I was going into Trials in the first place. Oh well, at least I’ve gotten a good roll of the Void SMG for my suffering this week. 🤷🏿♂️
