How to un-obsolete Sparrows now that Skimmers are in the game.

Now that I have a Skimmer I can't see a single reason to use a Sparrow anymore. In one swoop, my entire collection of Sparrows was made obsolete. But does it have to be that way? To make Sparrows relevant again, perhaps we could give them some new functions. For example: - Sparrows could be made much more robust so that they could take much more damage than any Skimmer before blowing up. This could actually be useful in certain situations - Give them guns, or let us shoot one of our weapons while using them - Give us deeper ammo reserves for special and heavy weapons if we use a Sparrow, to simulate that they are carrying supplies that Skimmers can't. Or maybe using one gives the player a slight health or shield boost. - Let them shield players a bit from environmental effects or elemental effects, like from the cold in the Deep Stone Crypt raid. - Make it easier for us to run things down with the Sparrow, which is fun already but really is more miss than hit because Sparrows are so narrow (well, most are). - Let us turn the Sparrow into a powerful bomb. Set a timer and then jump off while it continues on its way until it hits something or the timer runs out and it detonates. Anyway, I'm just brainstorming to see what else a Sparrow could have that a Skimmer does not so that you might choose it under different mission parameters. Of course, these would all be future additions that could make Sparrows relevant again. So what do you think? Do you still plan to use Sparrows and if not, what could entice you to use them again? I'd be curious to see what people might suggest. Thanks.

    1. Sparrow flying exists. 2. Slip streaming, the endgame sparrow technique, is faster, flies higher, and can get you to more crazy places. 3. Always On Time still has the ability where enemies have a greater chance to ignore you. 4. 99.99999% of the time, you're just going from point A to point B, which is a straight line with no ridiculous gaps or obstacles that require a hoverboard to bypass. In short, hoverboards are cool, but they don't replace anything. They are a cosmetic choice with a couple of neat tricks. Nothing in the game requires a hoverboard. There is no sparrow/hoverboard meta. Relax.
