Into the Light new content
Chances of this just being a similar situation to Leviathan where they just repurpose Scourge of the Past?

No way, it'll be more than some royally basic throw-away content like all the seasonal stuff. Bungie can't "overdeliver" (do more than the bare minimum) anymore so we'll probably get a whole new Eververse swath of content and a basic nothing game mode with no worthwhile loot thanks to crafting.

It will be 3 strikes with some dialogue and the strikes will be run in reverse which will give us the feeling of something new as it will seem unfamiliar to us. The secret mission will be whisper in reverse with a timer once at the boss

1 ReplyI’m expecting Old content given a quick paint job with added chumpions and tormentors. Reissued weapons/gear. If it’s better than that then yay, expectations exceeded! If it is that then 🤷♀️, expectations met.

You really think they'll make something new? When people throw money for recycled contents, don't expect them to deliver, let alone overdeliver

It will not be, that is why they are afraid to say something now. Got to hype it up and "reveal" it in a twitch. It will be a waste of time and most likely more recycled content just like the riven quests that were SO orriginal, new content. They have a piss poor track record of promising new and delivering recycled.

it won't be new, set your expectation 6ft under the ground. but old weapons will be given new perk pools. maybe adventures from yr 1 are coming back, that is my speculation.

There's a rumor there's like these old missions coming back... you probably know about the other Io mission... I want to play Arecibo again.

Please be NEW new.[/quote] They need to deliver a little bit of content with high replay-ability. If that means mostly repurposing old content, then so be it. Anything too large just distracts from the development time that could be put towards the large dlc. At what point does the filler content added in place of the delay defeat the point of having a delay?

My guess is that it will probably be a new onboarding system/storyline, stasis 2.0, major reworks to ability sandbox before FS, last ditch effort by the witness to prevent interference (based on advertising art work), and overhauls to the old planet vendor systems. I am immensely skeptical that we will see any kind of unvaultening, but if we did I’d guess it at most would be Hellas Basin and New Pacific Archology, but the probability of this is next to none. From leaks that I’ve read I would expect very little, as it’s a free event and has been scrambled to be produced.

2 RepliesThey did say before that it was a way for new lights to catch up before final shape, it couldve changed or been build upon since then. Though I dont think it will be similar to 30th anniversary since it's free so probably nothing too crazy coming out. I'm not expecting too much but the livestreams have me intrigued however
