Am I supposed to come to your stream when you're complaining about how hard it is to win? If I wanted to watch someone struggle at Trials like a nub I'd hop on the game myself.

1 ReplyI’m assuming the person who wrote this post is below the age of 18, because where the hell is punctuation?

First, please rewrite this with some proper punctuation, it's like one giant run-on sentence. Second, Passage of Persistence is DESIGNED the way you said. That's the entire reason it exists in the first place. Third, you shouldn't have to reset your card every single time you lose a match. You're free to continue to play on that card even after a loss, Passage of Persistence just makes it so that resetting will give you your highest achieved win and clear your losses. I don't know the implications and how this interacts with the flawless Lighthouse mechanic, but you SHOULD get the adept weapon even after you lose matches because of how the card works.

1 ReplyOr just don’t play trials. Obtaining an adept weapon from Trials and/or reaching the Lighthouse isn’t for everyone 🤷🏿♂️👍🏿

This is the dumbest passage in Destiny 2's history. I've been trying all weekend to get seven wins, but when I lose all my wins, I have to reset my passage. Even if I can't win my first game, I have to reset my passage again and again and again. Sometimes, I have to reset after every first loss. Almost every time, that is dumb. It's called persistence, not having to reset after every first loss. I think this is how it should work: If you win five in a row, you win the match and get a stock in your wins tab. But, say if you win two rows in one match and three wins in another match, you get another stock in your wins tab. It would take longer, but you would get all seven stocks in your tab and get your adept weapon without going flawless. This passage should make it easier and more welcoming to players with less skill in PvP, like me, who can't get flawless and the weapons I want. Please, Bungie, look over this passage again and fix it. Don't just say "get good." I have a life and a job outside of Destiny 2 and other games to play. I just don't have the time like I did when I was a kid or teenager.
FTFY
