I'm just gonna say, if you wanna talk about how bad I am then go for it. I know I'm not the worst player but I know I'll most likely never go flawless. I don't want a carry or a handout. But it is crazy when my teammates are just as bad and talk so much trash. If you're not doing any better, you need to drop that ego. It's also hard to win games when you consistently play on teams that don't know how to stick together. Stop running off and trying to be a hero.

3 RepliesTrials is a cesspool of the worst filth that exists in gaming, entirely. Destiny in general is pretty much that bad, but there are some decent people still. This is the worst playerbase I've ever seen though. I say this, playing COD for years before quitting. Not to mention all the cheating. I just ran into a match where a dude using the "Judgment" pulse one burst killed us. Pulses don't kill in one burst, not even high impact frames on all headshots.

9 RepliesHad a guy insult me one time through voice chat saying “I like how the guy with the flawless emblem has the lowest KDA” I had a bad round and ended up having to carry him, guess what? I went flawless and shut him out of the light house a couple of games later. It’s okay to be bad because you can improve,it’s okay to be a sweat as well, what is not okay is to be mean. I would much rather have bad players with good attitudes in my team than any mean spirited sweat.

On the other hand you are getting insults etc. from bad pvp player bc you are able to hit your shots. Played trials this weekend around 50 games and got 7 messages that I am a cheater or I have to get a life etc. . Not only some toxic sweats are the problem. We have toxic kids everywhere, no matter how good they are. 🤷♂️

Pretty much all multiplayer shooters now a days. Games been around too long, same maps, same broken load outs. PvP is hot garbage!!!
-
Yeah this is the outcome of passage of persistence lol. People clamored for the playlist to be populated and this is the outcome. Weeeeeee

1 ReplyIts been getting worse . Trash cheaters and sweats killing the game. But you have to blame Bungie for making trials so toxic when they could of easily made going to the light house 7 wins not in a row . At the rate its going you still run 4 or 5 games for just one none cheater toxic game .

5 RepliesEdited by ggpiazen: 3/10/2024 4:49:47 AMI just got something like that, dude said "why are you here, you only died and made me lose 5 matches, you should play only pve" brother, I'm dragging myself in the passage of persistence. according to these guys, yeah, we don't belong in pvp. they do have a point. at the same time, bungie throw us a bone and two and we low our standards to humiliate ourselves in trials (I have 5 wins since I started to play like 6 hours ago) 9I did another things in the meantime tho). if you are such a good layer, then you make a fireteam. at the same time, if all of us bad players leave trials, it would be catasthophic for the sweats. no, there's no such thing as a solution that makes everyone happy in the end. edit: also, how the hell am I supposed to learn to how play this game mode if I am not allowed to?

2 RepliesThese are what I refer to as “fake sweats”. They’re not really at the player level they think they are (which usually stems from a streamer they favor) so they use the blame game to compensate. Firstly, if you’re going into Trials solo, and you’re actually good at the game (as in your understanding AND applicability), or you just want to get better, then you would already know that MM most likely will not be in your favor. This is just PVP 101 in this game at this point. So your gameplan should already revolve around gauging your fireteam AND opponents playstyle(s), where you (as the better player of the 3) would fit into that, and how fast will you adjust when things go left, such as a 1v1-1v2-1v3 etc. Part of your gameplan should already be contemplating “how am I gonna win this round efficiently”, “how am I gonna bring this round back”, and/or “how will I adjust from being down on the scoreboard”. On a basic level that should be part of your thought process. Some ppl do take it a step further to message their fireteam, or join up on chats, that’s fine as well, but I typically just read the room and adjust on the fly. I guess I somehow enjoy overloading my brain with constant multitasking. I had to take out the idea that everyone I MM with HAS to perform on the same level as me or better. Get rid of that illusion because it’s not realistic, and it’s a core reason of why toxic players like this even exist. Just my two sense though.
-
My favorite part is when they tell people to get gud or leave, then proceed to complain pvp population is so low. Make it make sense lol

Those aren't sweats, those are just toxic players. Sweats typically are just good at the game, they usually do nothing wrong outside of destroying other players. A toxic player usually sucks at all aspects of the game and instead of quitting because they will never improve, they stay and try to make other players miserable. Toxic players should be laughed at and mocked at every opportunity

7 RepliesAnd it’s always the lonewolf aggressive player that goes out BY THEMSELVES, gets teamshot and then complains “where are my teammates” lol
-
I think you’ve got the wrong demographic. Trials sweats are actually good at the game and usually win. The players that bad mouth you are usually frustrated because they are bad at the game. I recommend joining voice chat but have your mic on mute. If someone starts bad mouthing you just mute them. They’re not worth the effort.

Edited by GIVE EM HELLBOY: 3/10/2024 6:56:44 PMSBMM is the big source of frustration here, I think. Tons of people are tired of getting people of lesser skill lopped on their team when the matchmaker should be filling the lobbies with everyone of an identical skillset. But while that is a problem, how insecure do you have to be to rant and rave at people? Who cares about winning when there are absolutely no stakes? The way I see it, not everyone on my team needs to be a comp professional with thousands of hours of experience. I dont need to win absolutely every game, even in high stakes games. The whole point should be to have fun and people like that ruin that experience. Sorry you had to deal with that.

4 RepliesYou take this game too seriously
-
2 RepliesWhich is why the majority of us simply ignore Trials. It’ll die off again.
-
The percentage of people going flawless is lower than it really has been most weekends. Especially given that there's more people playing than there has been recently due to the changes (and igneous hammer and messenger not being offered for the 80th time. (Its obvious why they wanted everyone to make sure they got a chance to get an igneous hammer now though)). I guess "ego" means something. The sweats have been through so much at this point.
-
Had a guy do the same to me last night. I broke positive, him and his friend went negative. I had almost 3x as much damage as him, and more than 3x his friend's damage.
-
6 Repliesnah you think ? the trails populations are a bunch of no lifes that like to talk for no reason we get it that no one loves you and you like shoving a yellow lightbulb up your -blam!- once a week, no one cares abut how much you sweat trials people have brain injuries, same goes for any weetards that live inside pvp, nothing here is new
-
Just for some help running 116 res is a waste of 16 point caps at 100
-
1 ReplyNot going to happen. A society that pays people to play video games is the perfect soil to nurture the roots of these weeds.

Follow me guys…trust me -Leroy Jenkins
-
hey man I agree with you but I have one nitpick 🗿 116 resil is just... silly, to sugarcoat it
-
The trials experience is a bit of a bad one for me and is the main reason I won't buy The Final Shape ,the match making , the cheats ,the toxic brain dead players. I have gone flawless but these days its not the same , To many dime store ego toxic goofs. To many cheaters and the main reason why pay for a game that's this dysfunctional.

i usaly just say i love you when people text me. for some reason that piss of some people xD
