Game crash
I've crashed 3 times now while in the dreaming city. I'm on series x

1 ReplyI'm on a PS 4 & I have been having the same issues since Tuesday's update.

Game is hard crashing on Series X for me. Been happening all day today, but the game never crashed Tuesday when the update came out. I only get a few minutes to complete a few bounties at any destination & the game freezes & hard crashes to the Xbox home screen. Its literally been YEARS since D2 has crashed on my Xbox. Its also the only game in my huge catalog that has crashed. Please get on this soon, Bungie!!!

Crashing in GG activities on PC as well. No Bungie message, just straight to black screen & eventually desktop. Sometimes with a graphics timeout error message from AMD.

On PC, Steam, crashed Tuesday and now today just going around patrol zones on the Moon.

Xbox Series X Just Froze in Dream City then kicked out.(x3) Please fix this bug.

I found the best solution to the crashing issue is opting to play another game. This seems to have resolved my issues and requires zero "support". The moment D2 suddenly crashes, I opt to play something else.

1 Replyalso crashing. seems to be getting worse. 4 or 5 times the last 20 min or so PC win 11 updated to latest drivers and patches, although this seems to be cross platform

Xbox. I have no hoverboard. Only doing bounties on Europa, EDZ, Cosmodrome etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. Have experienced numerous game crashes since update, no error codes of any kind. Game freezes for a few seconds and then re-boots to initial load screen. Only crashes in Destiny 2, no other xbox games have given me this problem. Could it be due to someone on a hoverboard cruising through the area? I'll have to play a few lost sectors to isolate myself, but I expect it will still happen. I will update comments if it does.

Just baboon, baboon, baboon, non stop, well apart from the occasional weasel error. Xbox series X, network tested no issues, Xbox network test ran with no problems for multiplayer etc, and other games working fine. Would be cool if Bungie could put something up on Twitter/X for this :) Thanks!

Mine started crashing almost 2 days ago, first time was in the dreaming city. Yesterday, i crashed over 4 times.. random places, and now ive crashed again. :/ Im on PC.

Random Baboon error code and then kicked out of the game completely. Mostly during nightfalls

Crashes to desktop every 15-60 minutes after patch on 2024-Mar-05. PC - AMD RX6700 XT

1 ReplyYep same for me on Xbox crashed 3 times now twice on EDZ and once on dreaming city , twice was when I was flying around with the hoverboard and the other time was when I was doing a public event

Getting dashboarded without any error code, while being in Dreaming City, and I’m not using the skimmer!

On series x as well. Crashed 6 times in last two days.
