Game Crashed
I was using the new Allstar-Vector (grey version) in a patrol zone on EDZ.
After doing the "Shift" Jump and using the "Ctrl" Slide it instantly crashed.
I dont know if it was just a one time problem or just my pc.
Just wanted to share this information.

Game crash randomly 4 times today in Dreaming City patrols. PC/nVidia 3070 running flawless till today update

Same here. Since the last update the game periodically crashes. I have deleted cash and remove local save files and nothing seems to help.

Xbox One. I have no hoverboard. Only doing bounties on Europa, EDZ, Cosmodrome etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. Have experienced numerous game crashes since update, no error codes of any kind. Game freezes for a few seconds and then re-boots to initial load screen. Only crashes in Destiny 2, no other xbox games have given me this problem.

[spoiler]I don't do a lot with Guardian Games due to my work schedule being so heavy at this time of year.[/spoiler]

5 RepliesI have posted and so have many others, since they did the series s/x upgrade. Destiny 2 constantly has random crashing issues for tons of people on tons of platforms. Bungie mostly ignores this issue and doesn't take accountability for it at all. They'll tell you to talk to Microsoft or Sony customer service about it. It is absolutely an issue with solely destiny 2 and Bungie has just completely ignored the problem. My Xbox loves to just randomly crash completely to home or shut down my Xbox while playing for no reason and without any errors codes. No other games do this to me, and I've done ALL troubleshooting possible as well as factory resetting my console and it's definitely not an overheating issue.

Same thing is happening to me. It doesn't matter what I'm doing. The game randomly crashes without giving a message on steam. PC - Cpu : AMD Ryzen 5 5600X - Gpu : Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti - Ram : 32gb ddr4 - Storage : nvme - Os : Windows 11 Pro

Just adding agreement - Series X, end of rainbow-road in Prophecy, game crashes with a Fireteam Finder team still in the activity, and I don’t get a “rejoin” option. Would be nice if we had a “recently played with” list in the social tab so I could find the team again and rejoin after a crash, as currently I have no means of finding them again.

Yep, same here. It's happened 3 times now, all when patrolling with the Vector equipped. One of those I wasn't even on the board. No error codes, straight to desktop.

Me and a friend were playing Terminal Overload: LH, some guy was doing tricks with his surf board, 5 minutes of pressing forward [b]we were both kicked to the desktop[/b]. Update : Ok so I went in again, solo, no one is doing tricks with a surf board, i'm in the same area of neomuna, this time the game crashed under 2 minutes, I have uploaded a video of the crash. My crashes were in cosmodrome. For me it shows an anteater error to app close / desktop. Once in my menu, loading with a sparrow equipped. Roughly three crashes whilst shooting or in motion.

Cross has the game crash at the end of the video.

Same D2 is the only game that crashes to the point I have to hard reboot my entire PC no other game is causing this issue. I have done everything and can't figure it out I'm only getting about 30-45 minutes of gameplay before my PC locks up. Tested multiple games and none cause this issue I am at a loss.

1 ReplyNo specific behaviors seem to trigger the crash, and no error code is given; I've lost connection performing Finishers, headshotting enemies, or even just climbing up a ledge. One second everything is fine, the next my screen freezes mid-frame and I'm booted back to the Xbox home page. After my 4th crash in 30 minutes, I logged off until this gets resolved. I can't make any progress in Guardian Games under these conditions.
