Please leave nimbus out of final shape
I’m refunding if I have to listen to this trash character and his trash dialogue soiling destiny’s “final conclusion”
Though the only final shape is the grave dug by bungie for their game! Congrats!

Oh man I'm glad this one popped back up. The other day I was thinking of a way that Nimbus could be redeemed. "Bitter Nimbus" Nimbus where he talks about how guardians were involuntarily raised from the traveler and so may have never really had to make a real choice in their lives. While he made the choice to become a 10 foot tall cybernetic action figure with a short use by date. Then he could also change into a darker and more brooding... corset.

Given that Lightfall was supposed to be high stakes, I don't know why bungie thought one of the main characters should be someone who takes nothing seriously throughout the campaign... even Rohan's sacrifice.

8 RepliesThat character alone painted a pretty good picture of whats left working on D2 nowadays. A bunch of junior dev zoomers who have zero understanding of nor passion for the game. Bungie shouldnt have shifted most of their talent to an unfinished, uncertain new product as long as their cash cow is still making so much money. Terrible decisions left and right.

The best advice I can give is to completely ignore his existence. Yes, really. If you [i]hate[/i] a character, it means they're important enough to you for them to stay in your thoughts. You are permanently dedicating brain cells to processing his existence and acknowledging him. People often jokingly refer to this as "living rent free in your head." In acknowledging someone enough to hate them, you are making them "important" to you, giving them power that you don't want them to have. The greatest insult you can deliver to someone/something is to care [i]so little[/i] about its existence that you don't even remember it. Think about it. You remember such insignificant things as the stupid arguments you should have won in elementary school, the order you tied your shoes in this morning, and that time you threw up after eating too much popcorn at the movie theater. If you remember pointless minutia like that and forget about someone that's still around in your life, you are telling them that they are as valuable as the ants that you [i]didn't know you stepped on[/i] while walking across your front yard this morning. That's far more impactful than hating them. Hatred empowers the people you don't want in your life. Apathy renders them powerless.

9 RepliesI really don't care about him. No hate, no love... those are too strong feelings for a video game. Sometimes, listening to him is fun, but all in all, he's just a poorly developed character, and that's not his fault. I doubt Bungie will "feel" the impact of your refund, but it's still the best you can do if you are unsatisfied.

2 RepliesAh yes , nimbus ([i]name does not deserve capitlization and character has not earned the respect or licensing to use the name of a cloud formation and breaks copyrights of the Sky and clouds[/i]) The discount-Jar Jar Binks, we should let him die, pretend its for a noble cause and then set him up with a pit of Unstoppable champions storming Neomuna, and then don't give him an Unstoppable Bow or Hand Cannon.

I don’t want to see him in anything, even something as small as a single quest step in a meaningless event quest. Nimbus isn’t a character that needs to be developed or built upon, he’s a character that needs to be removed, and forgotten about.

Nimbus, the cloud strider the hero of neomuna… has the guardians doing their job for them, there is even dialog that he says “oh I was THINKING about joining in, but you look like you had it covered” If I could respond as my guardian “oh no this event it would be a shame if I don’t do it” We had summonable allies during season of the haunted, it would have been cool if we could summon nimbus to fight by our side, but nope, they just looks lazy, willing to let the guardian cover his work for them
