VSF drops Lightfall Legendary Campaign Exotic Armor
I was wondering about this a little while back, asked around, and couldn't get a concrete answer so I decided to say so here.
Vex Strike Force WILL drop the Lightfall Legendary Campaign exotic armor even if you haven't already unlocked them in collections.
If you want the Abeyant Leap, Cadmus Ridge Lancecap, Cyrtarachne's Facade, Speedloader Slacks, Swarmers, and/or Ballidorse Wrathweavers, then you do NOT have to do the Legendary Campaign to get them. I got my first Swarmers from a VSF earlier today.

Yeah, this has been known by many for a long time. The VSF having an exotic armour knockout list is one of the reasons why people use twitter and discord bots to see when a VSF is going to take place. It’s how I obtained most of the new exotic armours released in the past couple of years, as I couldn’t be bothered with legendary campaigns and got fedup with legendary lost sectors rng. -
VSF can drop all exotic armor - its been known for a while. where did you ask people? Some things though: Knockout list doesn't work if you don't own Lightfall on the platform you're doing the VSF on Shadowkeeps campaign exotics (Assassins Cowl, Stormdancers Brace, Phoenix Cradle) will not drop unless SK has been completed on that class

The Lightfall specific Exotics can also be obtained from Legendary Lost Sector completions, although the chances of getting the drops you’re after are quite different from Strike Force, of course. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
