Bungie has stated they are fully aware of the issues causing a small number of players to be unable to play Destiny 2. Luckily, not everyone is affected. I'm on Xbox and I've had no issues whatsoever.
The issue is likely caused by external factors which means it will take some time for them to troubleshoot and fix alongside their service partners. Please remember that not everything can be fixed at the flick of a switch, some matters can take a while to fix.
I'm sure everyone at Bungie appreciates your patience at the current time. Stay tuned to their feeds for the latest information.

Hello there,
Thank you for reporting.
We are actively investigating reports of some Xbox players experiencing sign-on issues at this time.
No reported issues? I see loads of people all with the same issue.
-
ChinaXboxAre destiny servers unavailable
-
Servers are down Mr kiss -blam!- learn how to do ur job you -blam!-
-
UK XBox also down
-
Because that has to do with Brazil services.... there are US problems with the US servers right now, not weasel or the like, but servers completely unavailable. As usual Bungie isn't monitoring either it seems.

No response does not equal monitoring. It takes time to fully investigate network issues and determine the cause of any problems, especially when the issue is outside their control. -
Any major company would acknowledge the outage (since it's been almost 4 hours ongoing) and that it is being investigated. You have no idea if it's outside their control.
-
People are telling you that because you came off as arrogant and pretentious with what you said. Very snarky sounding. Do better.
Not sure what issues you're having, but I'm logged into Destiny 2 right now with no issues. Also, third-party websites such as DownDector are not reliable sources of information as they are filled with bots posting false information. Please use official Bungie sources for the latest information. Destiny 2 is fully online with no reported issues at the current time. If you're from Brazil, then please see the below quote directly from Bungie.
Our investigations have determined that the Telephonica Brasil internet service provider is having issues that are causing these error codes for our Brazillian players. Unfortunately, this is not an issue we can assist with since it's the ISP having the issue. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/263700765?sort=0&page=0&path=1
EDIT: Why are people telling me where they’re from and such? I’m not Bungie so telling me this information is pointless. As far as I can tell, it’s an outage with a data centre not the game. Not everyone is having issues so it’s clearly not the game. Destiny 2 is fully online.
Bc you're saying it isn't an issue and is only a problem in one locale, yet tons of people from everywhere are having problems. I'm not in Brazil so that isn't my issue.
-
I’m in Midwest U.S. and having the same problems.
-
@Swat, I am on the west coast, US and am unable to sign in. On XBox, get as far as 'Signing In' then 'Destiny 2 servers are not available', been trying for an hour now. Is this an XBox Live issue?
-
I don't think so..I just sucessfully played Reach from the MCC..No probs there..
-
Regardless of bots or not people are having issues something is not working ATM been trying for a while now still can't get on

Bungie is fully aware of players from Brazil having issues playing Destiny 2. However, the problem is outside of Bungie's control so there is nothing Bungie can do. You should contact your ISP for support. See the quote below directly from Bungie.
Again, nothing Bungie can do about issues outside of their control. -
I'm in the UK and getting the servers not available message
