I’m a PvP player, but mostly stopped playing destiny PvP over the last year, and PvE just isn’t that fun for me usually. But these changes really are great! Artifice armor from comp, the trials changes were really good, outlier protection for sixes sound amazing, and a bunch of other stuff. The only things I don’t love are checkmate in regular sixes, but we still have to wait and see how it plays more since the changes, including the bow nerfs. And I just feel like there should be more ways to get upgrade materials like enhancement prisms and ascendant shards from PvP. Doing a GM or master NF in around 10-30 minutes pretty consistently is much easier than going flawless, which takes 7 wins at the least, and it’s the only source of ascendant shards in PvP, and it’s only available on the weekends, and not during IB weeks. I feel like there’s already plenty of places for ascendant alloys, and I dunno about everyone else, but I rarely need them. I just want ascendant shards to make more builds, and you can’t do that too much from PvP. Swapping the alloy reward out for a shard from comp would be nice, and giving comp a small chance to drop ascendant shards on wins after doing the challenge for the shard that week would be good. And it increases in chance in higher ranks. This would allow much more build crafting for PvP players, and that keeps the game fresh and keeps players engaged.
