Assuming that you were playing your main class, titan, and that you were using your autumn wind pulse rifle, which has an aim assist value of 80, then you should have no problem taking down hand-cannon users from long to medium-long ranges. If you did happen to encounter a hand-cannon user at a shorter range then I must register my astonishment at your surprise and anger for being killed by a hand-cannon while you were in the best ranges for said weapon, and as stated earlier, your pulse rifle has an aim assist value of 80, as do most weapons of that category and archetype. With these facts present, and though we do often pride ourselves on the weapons we use, and that we would like for them to reign supreme, one must accept that not all weapons will be effective against all weapons, especially when one is in circumstances where the opponent's weapon is at an advantage.
