Maybe if this ground-breaking revelation comes from streamers, some people might actually believe it? Personally, I'm on a bit of a break from Destiny to play GoW: Ragnarok and will be following it up with Horizon: Forbidden West.

My thoughts on GernaderJake's video = Here’s the issue with GJ’s initial analogy about “eating the same meal”. In the case of Bungie/Destiny 2 it wouldn’t be the same meal over and over again. It would be the same meal, with the quality & quantity of the meal diminishingly severely over time. It would go from a grommet meal using all the finest ingredients & receiving 3 meals a day - to a gas station sandwich version of that meal, the meal being served under cooked, & only getting a meal once a day. Bungie has publicly stated they purposely under-delivered the content, allowed content to release bugged & unfinished for their live-team to attempt to correct after the game is live, and recently admitted that the content they’ve been putting out has been below the expectations of their fans & for themselves and content moving forward should meet the standards of TTK, Forsaken, & TWQ. You can’t say Vanilla D2, Shadowkeep, Beyond light, & Lightfall has been the same “meal” as The Taken King, Forsaken, & The Witch Queen. You can’t say The Dark Below, House of Wolves, Curse of Osiris, & Warmind were the same “meals” as any of the seasons. On GJ’s second bit about the game never being as good as it was in our memory - I agree and disagree. I see the point he’s attempting to make, but that point hasn’t shown itself to be true in the past. When I played The Taken King & moved to Rise of Iron and Vanilla D2 - I thought the best was behind us too. Then came Forsaken. Forsaken made TTK look like the red war. Same with The Witch Queen expansion. When TWQ dropped I thought we were finally seeing Bungie stepping up to the plate again since Forsaken. If Bungie wishes to put their passion into it & work hard for it - they can still have the best days of Destiny ahead of them. But, the bottom line is that I don’t think the studio cares about the IP anymore or has the passion for it to produce such content. The proof in that pudding has been on display with all the content that has released since TWQ. S17 - present has been absolute trash & has contributed to the largest player exodus in franchise history. The last bit is absolutely hilariously ridiculous to me. The biggest issue with Bungie/Destiny 2 is cheating in trials??? Bro, cheating in trials??????!!? Talk about being totally self-absorbed & only concerned with your lane. What about Bungie purposely & proudly under delivering to their paying customers? How about Bungie ignoring and disregarding their paying customer’s feedback?? How about Bungie’s CMs attacking & mocking their paying customers, and blocking them from the conversations for being vocal about the state of the game??? How about Bungie systematically releasing less & less content with each release creating a situation where we no longer get core-game activities added (PvP maps, new strikes, gambit, etc.)???? What about how insane the nosedive in terms of Lightfall’s new story, new characters, new destination, and just general quality of the overall expansion?????!! The down fall of Bungie / Destiny2 falls solo on the feet of the studio’s arrogance that they could continue to short change their paying customers, ignore their customer’s feedback, and their customers would remain loyal and continue to purchase the game. The negative sentiments towards the game being higher than they’ve ever been is just the pot finally boiling over after years of neglecting it heating up. Regarding GJ's speculation - If The Final Shape is the last large expansion & raid coming to the Destiny franchise moving forward & episodes will become the new normal - I'm pretty sure this will be the slow death of the IP. Personally, unless Bungie comes out with a fantastic game plan for the future of the franchise, TFS will be my last.

They both are shills for bungie. They get money from bungie. They get invited to the summit. Imo, I think the streamers are a huge part, not all, for this game's spiral. People like the mf salt, they represent the 1 percent, that all they do is game with the same people everyday. So when the breeze through a raid or a gm they say it's too easy, and they ask for nerfs. Bungie obliges. I like destiny...but also can't wait for it to be put out of its misery.

Who ever thought playing video games would be so difficult? Don’t worry, plenty of people post that advice on here, especially when a rage post appears. Whether people take that advice or not is down to them. It’s always a good reminder though: play for fun and have a damn good time!

Fine advice for pve, pvp is a bit more punishing if you take more than a two or three weeks at a time.

I'm a giga try hard and even I have like a week a month where I just play other games. And by the time I get back, destiny feels fresh again!
