Recently I did an armor synthesis quest line where, during one step, I had to get 100 synthcord by doing Vanguard activities. After that there is a step where ADA-1 gives you 5,000 Glimmer as a reward. I had ~280,000 Glimmer at this point, well below the cap, but it told me I didn't have enough space to get the reward. I went to Ikora Rey and bought abilities to get myself below the old (250,000) Glimmer cap, and then went back to ADA-1 and was able to get my Glimmer reward and complete the quest. This quest needs to be adjusted to look at the current Glimmer cap when determining if the reward can be obtained by the player.
