Why don't players get surveys or votes for updates and changes??
This is pretty normal for other gaming companies who actually listen to their player base, so why not bungo ?

My friend got 500 Silver for filling out a survey. You know what the difference between him and me is? He isn't on the forums daily giving away his opinions for free...

Nope. Our voices only matter when deciding Trials maps, and whatever crap is going to get stuffed into Eververse next.

You said it yourself, developers that actually listen. This means they hear what's being said and try to apply it to their game. It took this developer to get a wake up call a decade later to kind of listen to the community and they are still using the community's feedback to manipulate people.

They do send out surveys. They also have social media for feedback (including right here). They also do occasional votes on things.

A company that constantly feels the need to say that they are "listening" to their community clearly has to compensate for ignorance and wants to change the public view on their actions. They constantly kept repeating that but NEVER actually did listen. Thats why. The one demographic they actually listen to tho are entitled 24/7 playing elitist streamers. One way to let your game die.

It is good that they don’t, at least regarding this forum 99 idea / complain is just a bad take, and majority seems to want to just cheese/craftening or other unhealthy stuff without realizing how it would impact the game on big scale.

If guardian games was ever an example, hunters would be the ones dictating all the changes in the game. If it weren't for all weight voted choices. Also doesn't help that the destiny community is inherently toxic with any kind of change.
