Threadlings nerfed to the floor for the sake of nerfing strand hunters in PvP. I think Bungie should remember that Warlock’s entire strand subclass is designed around using threadlings.
To kill the meta subclass, they had to also kill an off-meta subclass. I guess they couldn’t be bothered to balance each class independently.

1 Replynerfed on the floor, LMFAO this community really needs to know how to read , and tbf ALL ability got nerfed inside pvp
-
3 RepliesThis is exactly what happened to Stasis Titan when they nerfed the hell out of shatter damage rather than fixing the actual issue that was Shatterdive. Hunters are bungies golden children, always have been, always will be!
-
Everything good in this game suffers in order to pay lip service to Bungie's substandard PvP.
-
1 ReplyBungie clearly stated that they think BOTH Threadlings and Threaded Spectre are issues... Not that I agree. I thought Threadlings were fine in terms of damage
-
1 ReplyDidn’t they reduce their damage by 5?
-
And they will just find something else to complain about , that's why we have a never ending meta cycle , people complain about things they don't use killing them in pvp And Bungie is to blame for listening to it , and ovvernerfing to make the crybabies happy Any ability or weapon that is the slightest bit effective is destroyed because of snowflakes -blam!- adapt I hate handcannons , but if it's a handcannon meta , I will dust off my Austringer and Thorn , instead of furiously typing nerf demands

2 RepliesAnother example of why there should be separate pvp and pve balancing. Nerf threadlings in pvp, sure. In pve? No. Especially when another class is dependent on the thing you nerfed. And then to try to make up for it by buffing melee was insulting.
-
And you see why Dawnblade gets used the most in PvP by far outside of well’s usage.
-
You can blame this once again on streamers complaining about strand been to strong in pvp.
-
I will admit, they handled Threaded Spectre like dogshit. It should've changed function, not pull threadlings down with it.
-
Should’ve just replaced the Threadlings in the dodge with a second unraveling blast or something. If the double grenades were still too oppressive then touch the threadlings.
-
Don't be such a dramaqueen . So many OP builds to use and all you think about is strand ... Then go play spiderman ?? Jezus .

1 ReplyLol you guys crutching on threadlings and I’m over here suspending players left and right in pvp getting free kills. I never relied on those things, they are inconsistent as it is and I find the playstyle boring. Suspend is honestly where the warlock actually shines when it gets to strand
-
1 ReplyThey didn’t forget anything. They state right in the TWID they know it’ll “negatively impact warlocks” they just don’t give a sht “ We’re massively nerfing threadlings because hunters are fking awful, this nerf will gut warlocks. we’re well aware of this fact, but it’s okay, we buffed the aim assist of your mele.” Rift interaction? Nerfed Perched threadlings? Nerfed. OUR FKING SUPER? Hard nerf. Why? Because hunter dodge. Fk this game. Seriously Fk this game I’m so sick of this 💩💩💩💩 When I think about the insane amount of money I’ve given this company for years in expansions and constant silver purchases Just for them to take a steaming dump on warlocks every single season. Like why God what a mistake.

Edited by The Hermit IX: 2/16/2024 6:54:44 PMThe nerf to threadlings can easily be mitigated by altering Swarmers in the exotic passes, Threadlings are suppose to be a Warlock thing. Like everything Warlock, it’s hijacked by the other classes. They’ve adjusted Devour so it remains stronger on a warlock. I’m sure they’ll do the same with threadlings.

1 ReplyEdited by NicheWhiz: 2/16/2024 7:10:47 AMI think they should make the threadlings the way they are when they released the subclass and revert back the changes to suspend. Remember suspend was only a problem in pve. Tuning the thread kings made it worse for pvp as well.
-
1 Reply"Nerfed to the floor?" They got their damage reduced by like 6 points.
-
Rip threadlings and good riddance, regardless of class
-
Oh yeah and how bout the buff to the melee wich primarily sacrificed for threadlings 90% of the time. Always didn't like strand anyway, probably won't be as bad as we thing but still hate using it.
-
Honestly agreed the only change threadlings needed was hitbox since the hitbox was like in the direct middle of a threadling meaning sometimes it'd be in the floor.
