Special ammo changes will only make things worse. Good players still gonna have acess to ohk special guns, leaving casuals in the dust, now that they won't even have a fighting chance.
What bothered me the most tho is not a word was mentionned about sbmm and cbmm in casual control. It looks like trials will still be the real casual playlist, unlike quickplay control.
If it took about half a year for pvp strike team to double down on checkmate crucible, then there is no hope for fun and enjoyable pvp in the final shape.
I really miss Forsaken and Vicarious visions.

Yeah, it's a really stupid move on bungies part. Just driving more players away from pvp

stop using casual word to defend bottom 1000% players, and sbmm is a thing for that too

7 RepliesEveyone starts with the 2 loads of special it just means that they’ll have a slight harder time recuperating more

2 RepliesEdited by Nimune: 2/16/2024 1:33:02 PMThe special ammo change is the only good thing about checkmate. Less fusion rifles, we should rejoice.

1 ReplyThere’s tons of great special weapons available to craft for players. There’s also tons of great exotic specials available. I don’t understand the logic here.

1 ReplyEveryone can earn more special ammo through kills, assists, deaths and objectives. Good players already get more special than everyone else by racking up kills. The changes just mean slightly less for everyone, giving a bit more room for primaries to breathe.
