Can't wait for threaded specter to get destroyed in PvE because of a gamemode I do not touch. We can actively see that you can tune PvP and PvE separately through checkmate. There isn't an excuse anymore, stop being lazy.

Exactly. They buffed the dmg in pve lmao Who the F uses spectre for the damage? It's actually hilarious...
-
4 RepliesDon’t worry with them basically making crucible more skill focused/less forgiving and forcing checkmate into all modes all the new lights and lesser skilled players will leave/avoid the mode even more than normal. Leaving just the higher skilled players turning the mode into the sweatfest they want. Casual crucible will be nonexistent.

6 RepliesOh look, another lazy idiot that doesn’t bother to actually READ. Threaded Specter got its explosion buffed quite a bit in PvE, to make up for the slightly less clones we can create. I’ll take that. Go back and read the TWAB you nimrod. Swear to god you crybabies are insufferable.

Cry more

4 RepliesWELL WHAT DO YA KNOW? PVE GOT SHAFTED AGAIN BECAUSE OF PVP? NO WAY, BUNGIE CAN DO NO WRONG, NOT MY GAMING COMPANY.
-
1 ReplyPolishes Sunbraces…wait what?
-
2 RepliesThreaded Spector was literally buffed in PvE tf
-
You're tired of Hunters getting nerfed haha this like the first nerf in a long time and it was only half a nerf at that, they buffed in pve. Titans are the nerfed king every other time
-
Well this aged well. Lol.
-
16 RepliesSounds like they’re tuning it for PvP looking at the TWIS preview, maybe they separated it, but this is bungie we’re talking about, highly doubt they separated it.
-
Hunters in pve have some of the best builds lol
-
Womp womp?
-
good the nerf will do nothing to pve
-
I'm tired of PvE [...] getting nerfed because of PvP
Sure, but Bungie has already said previously they’re bringing down ability uptime across the board, not just for the sake of pvp. Hence, the nerfs to things like heart of inmost light and bonk hammers. I’m sure we’ll see more in the future for things like strand titan (which I think needs it).
-
12 RepliesPve nerfs are so disappointing specially to appease toxic elites that hate space magic
-
Celestial Nighthawk solar hunter feels amazing right now. Best part is the artifact mods are only accelerating it, you dont need any of them to get all the same effects the artifact mods provides with the right setup.
-
More than 50% now days lol
-
Checkmate is a modifier, like contest mode. They can absolutely tune them separately based on interactions with guardians vs EODs, but yeah checkmate isn't the example you're looking for unless you're asking them to make a modifier solely for threaded spectre lol.
-
Hunter tears yes my favorite 🤣
Can't wait for threaded specter to get destroyed in PvE because of a gamemode I do not touch. We can actively see that you can tune PvP and PvE separately through checkmate. There isn't an excuse anymore, stop being lazy.
Since D1, this has been a major complain, Hunter’s have one good thing, our players master one thing from Hunter’s and the whole YouTube, player base, and Bungie employees request a nerf over something Hunter player’s figure out on PvP, then Hunter’s become next to useless for PvE. Nighthawk is no where near what it used to be, not to mention even when you slow down to take aim crouch, most of the times the critical hit does not register. Throwing knifes are back to what they were in D1 before the first ever nerf, which was a Hunter class, and it was done because Bungie underestimated the skills of the hardcore COD player base that came in to test the game. Stasis, well deserved nerf for PvP, issue is, stasis is pretty much broken on all classes on PvP, and very useful on PvE, nerfing this classes for what happens in PvP makes using stasis in PvE not difficult but annoying since we have to wait fairly long for our abilities to charge. Overall PvP is not getting the respect it deserves, PvP also determines validity or value of sub-classes and weapons, but PvP gets no respect, I don’t know if this is trolling or Bungie is has lost their way with PvP, PvP hasn’t gotten much love since Destiny 1, year 1 through to year 3.

It's unlikely they're doing anything to its viability in PvE; it certainly isn't as widespread as it is in PvP. The implications of Threaded Specter have been pretty harmful to the sandbox in PvP, alongside many other things that have been left for so long. This balancing pass has been a long time coming.
-
I’m a little worried too. Strand hunter is my main this season because of threaded spectre alone. I hope it doesn’t get butchered
-
7 RepliesI agree they should tune them differently but pvp isn't any less valuable to the players who play it because you don't.
-
I mean if u read their post these are gonna be pvp specific nerfs. I don't know why ur complaining about pve.
