Gotta say, that might get me to play once a week starting March 5th….
I guess there’s nothing wrong with this game anymore. After all, free bright dust!
That’s 9800 bright dust total! That’s more than 9700!

5 RepliesI’m surprised it’s taken this long to incorporate login rewards into the game. I wouldn’t be shocked that if in the future they add daily login rewards to the tune of a small amount bright dust, glimmer, materials, legendary and exotic engrams and older or less popular cosmetics.
-
2 RepliesThat might just get me back into the game. For 5 minutes a week.
-
Edited by The Hermit IX: 2/11/2024 9:22:54 AMDon’t look a free bright dust in the mouth.
-
3 RepliesWe would have gotten another battlepass around end of February/ beginning March had Final Shape not been pushed back. I saw this as them giving us the bright dust that would have been in that (only a little less).

There's always a catch... Free Silver, or for Bright Dust, more diversity in the store. But the current offer is just another limitation, which comes with no surprise, knowing Bungie.

Edited by GenXer: 2/9/2024 3:45:13 PMI wondered as I read the TWID if it would be enough to entice me to log in. It was but a fleeting thought, as I then considered that I hadn't really read the post in its entirety. I'd just skimmed it and marveled at my lack of interest in any of it. I had absolutely no interest in upcoming loot pools and never paused to consider those "Unrevealed" items. There was a time when I'd read every word, looking forward to new weapons and kit. As I read it, I also thought that giving away bright dust is a precursor to more changes in the economy that will be to the detriment of most players. If there's one thing we can count on from Bungie, it's change, and whether that's change for the sake of change, change to something more of the same, change that leads to some weird or massive bug, or change that leads to player enjoyment or free-for-all to be nerfed at a later date, that change is usually not for the better. So methinks the answer is no; I will not be logging for bright dust and then running hither and yon to try something else. My time is better spent elsewhere, almost anywhere.

1 ReplyYou know, i don't get you ppl, yes that means you Inflatablepants and others in this thread. This is what i see... A homeless sitting under a bridge, a passer by drops $5 The homeless gets up and says take that money and shove it, my problem is i don't have a home! WTF

2 RepliesEdited by SAXplayer7: 2/10/2024 6:19:01 PMWow you can buy like a whole 3 exotic items from the shop then !
-
What they didn't say is they were removing all bright dust purchases from the game and making everything silver only 😂
-
I'm sitting on 178k. There's nothing that's good that's available with BD, and everything that was available that I liked I got. I mean, how many ships do I really need, same with ghosts. I have been rocking the same ghosts, ship, and sparrow. By the time they even release anything that was only available for silver, I don't care or even think about it. Most things that I am interested in are only available in silver. But I'm losing interest in them as well.

16 RepliesJust means they will rise the costs of bright dust items again. If not now, at the launch of the final shape. Devaluing a currency comes at a cost. Even in video games.
-
I got free bright dust this week check the 1st page. Let us know. not much to use it on though.
-
Yup more than 9700 when I have 60K, nothing to spend it all on and 700 a week is just going to incentivize me to play a ton more and buy silver and purchase TFS. DOHH! said homer simpson
-
4 RepliesI have 150K because there is nothing worth purchasing.
-
Man, some of you guys are way too easy. Why don't you tell them how appealing the items are for BD and how fun the RNG is spending all that time dismantling duplicates?
-
I have a little over 130,000 in bright dust. Other than an occasional ship nothing really interests me. So not a real incentive for me.
-
The problem is that the stuff I actually want is locked behind Silver so I’ll be stuck with more Bright Dust that I’ll never use.

2 RepliesEdited by Morakx: 2/9/2024 5:06:31 AMYayy you can now buy 3 useless emotes in the shop for free, after "only" loging in for 14 straight weeks, wowie. One desperate way to get your players to login to the game when its BLEEDING players to make them visit the cash shop once a week and then maybe be inclinend to pull out the credit card to spend more money in the store because waiting is hard and the 1400 Dust after 2 weeks might just be short for that sweet new ghost projection you always wanted uwu. Wow they are such saints, Bungie is fixed so amazing, no bad intentions at all wow.
-
4 RepliesTrying to buy back players with Bright Dust.... A better option would be make everything in Eververse Bright Dust and charge only 1 BD for each item. 700 a Week..is petty cash. Its like giving a Homeless person a penny... Homeless Person: WTF am i supposed to do with a Penny?
-
I already have 50k+ saved anyway because nothing in the BD section of the store ever interests me. Funny, it wasn't a problem until Bungie stopped offering the seasonal armor pieces...
-
Should be 1000 a week.
-
3 Repliesmore D2 Weapons (Old & New), Loot (Exotic via Episodes after Final Shape) & free Bright Dust…but still no (Zero) “Vault Space” increases? I seen more F2P games with better inventory space. “Bungie” 🤜🥺
-
2 RepliesYep, that makes up for all the problems! I'll buy the Final Shape for sure now!
-
Gonna log in, grab the free goods. Then I'm gonna log right back out until they start taking the game seriously again.
-
1 ReplyEdited by murkypondwater: 2/8/2024 11:55:02 PMI hop in on Tuesdays to check out the Bright Dust items then log out, so I appreciate the added incentive to do my weekly 30min of Destiny

1 ReplyFree Bright Dust? Bwahahahahahaha!!! What can you buy? Cosmetics?… Bwahahahahahaha!!! It ain’t free, you’ve already paid for it! Back in the day, cosmetics were already all included into the base game. They just tricked you into buying it separately from the shop. But it used to be included. So it ain’t really free. You already paid for it! Bwahahahahahaha!!! Welcome to hollowness!
