Been messing around with these in pvp…and even Revoker!
All are still so good and crispy in the crucible…bring these quests back bungie, or at least bring them back in the mix if we already have one

I agree. Even if they make magnificent howl only work in PvE it would be awesome.

Bring back Palindrome with Magnificent Howl in its perk pool I Would grind GMs for that -
6 RepliesThey’d have to remove magnificent howl for it to not come back broken but these were great feeling hcs bring em back
-
1 ReplyMaybe as an exotic but otherwise just being an adaptive HC with the accuracy of a 180 is kinda broken for a legendary…
-
rather have my Recluse back

-
Yeah that's one of those "had to have been there " times in destiny. The most oppressive weapons since house of wolves thorn.
-
4 RepliesA hand cannon, perhaps exotic, with box breathing would be interesting. Perhaps a 180rpm to make one viable in PvP.
-
Not forgotten is arguably still the best handcannon. 2 head and 1 body from a legendary 140 is amazing.
-
1 ReplyLuna and NF can come back for sure. Heck. Even make magnificent howl work like it originally did in PvE. I don't really know how to make revoker not gamebreaking though, that one should probably stay dead.
-
16 RepliesLuna's Howl and NOT Forgotten are better than almost every other Handcannon due to their intrinsic perk, Magnificent Howl, and the Precision Frame accuracy.
-
14 RepliesThe amount of whining alone that those guns caused from the garbage cans.... Like I know this communtiy will whine about anything, but that was an ESPECIALLY annoying time.
-
4 RepliesThose 3 weapons plus Recluse were probably the biggest reason why sunsetting happened so I doubt they'll bring them back in original form. Survivor's Epitaph and Funnelweb will be the closest we'll get to those beautiful nightmares.
-
That proves when light advantage isn't an issue, any weapon can be good. Even the sunset ones.
-
I wish they would bring an exotic version of Luna's Howl into the game. Call it "Luna's Evolution".
-
Pfft bringing back 180 triple tapping would be lovely
-
They would be powerful if they came back but there have been a lot of weapons since then, that if they were to be in their more powerful forms, could probably compete. Maybe. It would probably also depend on what version they came back in or how different they were now. Also, at this point some of the complaints are so nonsensical that adding those two to the mix would at least cause more people to play. Not sure if there could really be any more complaining. All the PvP complaints have been logged, time to make some new ones!

Edited by gracklepod: 2/8/2024 1:43:08 PMTwo of them at least, can be purchased at the tower
-
If the quests came back I think those who earned them before the original sunset and quest removal should get the quest automatically completed I don’t really want to grind that again, especially in the state that comp is in
-
I don't know about Not Forgotten, because I stopped just short of hitting Legend (and I have NO IDEA why), but Luna's Howl was a lot of fun to use. The last version of both weapon's perks are where they should be too. People argued that it made you lazy by teaching you to aim for the body, but you could and should still aim for the head, it's just very forgiving if your aim gets off a bit.

I've been using Not Forgotten in that slot because I hate Igneous. Even teamed it with Mountain Top for a laugh in 6s
