PVP is awful and I wish bungie would actually take it seriously. From match making being complete crap, to no punishments for leavers, not to mention there are definitely a ton of people using wall hacks and aimbots subtly and there is no killcams for reference. Than you have P2P and network abusers.
People come for the pve content but once youve done everything, whats the point if you cant go flex in pvp because its an actual cesspool? Destiny 2 is already a dying game but Im certain there would be longer term player retention if PVP didnt feel like it was an alpha build.

7 RepliesI hate all the go slow updates. Destiny was best with plentiful abilities and fast killing guns. Also. Match making is brutal. No way a new player sticks with the game. Just quit. I did and feel better for it.

Want to know how seriously bungie takes there pvp. Go watch the trailer for final shape see what kinda pvp content is in there

You're not saying anything that hasn't been said before over and over again. Most of us know it's a joke. Bungie knows it's a joke. Most of the people who don't know it's a joke are basement lords who act like they're putting match victories in their 401k or streamers. Bungie doesn't want them to leave though so it has to not say it's a joke out loud.
there are definitely a ton of people using wall hacks and aimbots subtly
How many is a ton?

match making being complete crap
There are a ton of matchmaking types. Which one do you dislike? SBMM, CBMM, FBMM, or do you mean Lobby Balancing?
to no punishments for leavers
Not true. There is a punishment for leaving Trials and Comp games. Bungie tried implementing Quitter Penalties for 6v6 modes, but players got mad and it was removed.
there are definitely a ton of people using wall hacks and aimbots subtly and there is no killcams for reference. Than you have P2P and network abusers.
Claims of widespread cheating are going to be met with skepticism until you provide evidence. Cheating is always an issue, but don't claim that it's everywhere without evidence.

Honestly, I’ve found myself playing a lot more PvP than normal lately and it’s been pretty fun. Threadlings are an absolute cancer though so if they were tuned a bit then I think we’d be in business

9 RepliesEdited by FENIX: 2/7/2024 7:11:15 PMIdgaf tbh, I'm playing PvP casually and having fun. Also you have 2k total Crucible kills lmao, tf are you talking about 🤣

6 RepliesEdited by Poolwizard: 2/7/2024 1:59:08 PMYou have strict sbmm, forced wins and fireteam based matchmaking. You kids killed pvp by crying everyday.

1 ReplyFeels like they intentionally made it terrible to sell more marathon copies in the future. Too bad most ppl will always see Bungie and pvp with a bitter taste since they abandoned D2 pvp for 5 years.

The matchmaking and team balancing is a joke in PvP
-
Don’t worry, they’re making a fully pvp only game that I’m sure will do well😉

Let make a poll after a loss on the forums and rally the other trashcans.....

Abysmal? I thought it was in Missouri, my bad.

Why can't I vote "I like PVP" and "PVP is a joke"?
-
I'm an avid pvper, but it can be better, way better

There's already been times here lately where PvP has felt more how you would expect it to feel, even if you want to always be able to destroy people with a single weapon and you can't. Here lately, and it is quite strange, the PvP feels more like what Bungie would have done with this particular PvP. Trials had already kind of been like that when you got decent matchmaking but over the course of this season the other modes have been showing promise at times. Its hard to say exactly when those times were.

2 RepliesAhh the classic 0.61kd moaning about bot lobbies 😏

Edited by WifeAggro_AFK: 2/7/2024 12:47:03 AMDo you even play this game? Most PVP players have hundreds of resets, upwards of like 10+ in a single season. Heck even the PVE players in my clan have like 40 + resets. You have zero.... My initial impression of The Finals and Valorant weren't good, but I at least tried playing it before passing judgement... With that said - game has a metric ton of issues and pvp was ignored for YEARS

24 RepliesEdited by ㅤ Avvor: 2/7/2024 12:32:07 AMLeaving shouldn’t be punished Apart from bad connections no one should be forced to stay in a game if they don’t want to and with this current meta and the state of things that’s the main reason people leave anyway so it’s there own fault people are leaving matches (You’ve been trolled for context)
